Newark-Naz is a wonderful church if you are looking for a contemporary style of church that will bring you a breath of fresh air. Pastor Wes Humble is an awesome speaker who is an ordinary man leading people to the glory of God. He delivers a powerful message that includes some humor and current events. And he doesn??t act like he is holier or better than anyone else.

The praise and worship team is very uplifting. That is what caught my eye when I first started attending here over 10 years ago. Brian Redman heads up this team and the music is top notch if you enjoy contemporary Christian music. I enjoy music and had grown tired of the southern Baptist ??old school? hymns, so this had me hooked immediately.

There are two things that make this church a standout from most of the others. First, this church is focused on welcoming visitors and making you feel comfortable, everything from the greeters at the door to help point you in the right direction, the snacks and drinks available that you can take into the service with you, and the check-in and security stub you get when you drop your child off at the children??s area ensuring that a stranger isn??t going to walk out with your kid.

Secondly, they are very involved with the community through a wide range of services and activities. And all of the activities are open to anyone from church members and neighbors in the area to the homeless or lost. Everyone is welcome here regardless of age, color, clothing, wealth, past, education or heritage.

We are all children of the Lord and welcome at his church. We have three locations offering different times to worship at each. You find more information at www.newarknaz.org

Newark Naz is a wonderful, loving church full of honest and caring members who love doing God's work! Newark Naz does a great job of welcoming newcomers and making them feel at home. If you're looking for a modern church to visit or call home please check Newark Naz out. There are three Sunday morning services 8:30, 10:00 and 11:30. The youth services are phenomenal as well. There are numerous programs, services and community outreach opportunities available as well. Come as you are. The members at Newark Naz do not judge people based on what they wear, how they look or who they are. Everyone is treated equally. God is doing great things in our community through this church! Please come see for yourselves. You won't be disappointed.

PROS: Three Sunday Morning Services, Phenomenal Youth Services, Come as You Are
CONS: No Sunday Evening Services
