I attend mass at St. Martin almost every Sunday. The pastor has a real gift of both relating to the congregation and presenting a very spiritual nature.

I am a parishioner of St. Martin Chuch and have been all of my life. I have always been a reverent person and feel I fit in very well at St. Martin. I attended St. Martin School and my child is also an alum at this point. I have extremely fond childhood memories of St. Martin Church and School. I moved out of the parish but decided to send my son there and now know it was a great decision. St. Martin's Church has been through its ups and downs over the years in my opinion but it has always come back on top. I feel the current pastor, Fr. Terry, is a great asset to St. Martin and to the community. He is dedicated, reverent and always willing to take some time out to listen to your concerns and help in any way he is able. I know that no matter where I go, St. Martin parish will always hold a special place in my heart. I hope others feel just as welcome! The parish is full of many people who truly care about others and want you to have a comforting, wonderful experience each time you come. I know I care about the other parishioners and don't judge by appearances as menitioned in another review. We are all children of God no matter what the circumstances. May God bless you!

I attended St Martin's Church and graduated from St. Martin's school. It was the foundation for my life. I am now 62 years old and live in North Carolina. I have experienced many trials and temptations through-out life, but that foundation has kept me strong and still standing for the Lord and Savior I was introduced to, and later came to enjoy a personal relationship till this day.The school taught me to have respect for authority and people in general. I realized the difference when I had to attend public schools and later enter the work-force. I had ethical standards not practiced by many of my peers.I still always visit the Church every time I come to Cincinnati. It looks exactly the same as it did 50 years ago. Immaculate. It will always have a special place in my heart. Thank You

I am relatively new to the St. Martin's parish, but I have found it so welcoming and everyone is friendly. Father Terry is an excellent pastor. He delivers wonderful thought provoking homilies that keep your attention. I am excited to be starting my son there in kindergarten this fall. He attended the preschool bible classes that were offered during the last school year. This was nice as it allowed me to attend mass while he learned about the Chuch and God in a great environment. The cost for the entire school year for the bible class was unbelievably reasonable. I only hope to become more involved in the day to day parish activities.

I was so sad and dismayed to read the previous review. My husband and I are 24 years old, and just joined this parish last year. We had been members of a neighboring parish, and we chose to switch to St. Martin because we loved it so much. We have never run into any funny looks or glances from any of our fellow parishioners--in fact, they have been truly kind and welcoming to us.
I am unsure if the previous poster is Catholic or not, because as a faithful Catholic, I find St. Martin to be one of the most exceptional parishes I have ever attended. There is such a sense of respect and reverence during Mass, and really during any time I am in the church. I believe there was a different pastor in 2005, but our current pastor, Father Terry, is a wonderful, thoughtful, holy man. It is obvious how much he loves Our Lord, and you cannot help being touched by his homilies. I am usually wrestling with my two babies and he is still able to keep my attention--that says a lot.
If you are looking to attend Mass just to get a nice feeling and a good message, then perhaps this isn't the parish for you--because this parish goes SO FAR above and beyond that. If you are a faithful Catholic who wants a traditional, holy and reverent parish, you will love St. Martin of Tours.

I used to attend church there and I always got looked at like I was funny because I never had any dress clothes on, but I thought church was a time to praise God and get a nice spiritual message. However I never really felt any better spiritually when I left, I only felt like I had put in my time and that was good enough. And the people sing like they are at a sance and the preacher is putting them all under a spell. Im sure glad I got out of there.
