Book Loft Of German Village

This is a great bookstore in the heart of German Village. As you walk through the store you walk through little rooms, each themed by the types of books in that room. You could spend hours here and you'll always find the book you are looking for.

My wife and I visited The Book Loft of German Village, on a weekend getaway. It is an intriguing book store placed inside a historic home. Each room contains a different category of books, and it is fun to walk the labyrinth to find what you are looking for. The inventory of books is pretty deep; although Im not sure it is really any better than a large retail book store. What makes the Book Loft special is the setting. Being a converted home, you will spend a lot of time walking up and down stairs and through twisting hallways to find the room you are after. If you go, plan on spending some serious time there and make sure you get a map at the counter!

My wife and I REALLY enjoy spending an evening at the book loft, and next door cup o joe coffee shop. They boast some enormous number of rooms, and you can navigate by using the maps hanging in every room. Each room has a different theme or type of book that they carry. You could spend hours here and still only see a tiny bit.

I love this book store. I used to go here a lot when I lived on campus. It's such a neat book store with lots of options. Everyone should be able to find something here. The staff is very friendly. If they don't have what you want they are always really happy to order it for you.

This "store" has over 30 rooms to it! They range in topics from animals, art, humor, childrens, numerous history rooms and just about anything else you can think of. If they don't carry it they will order it for you. They also have a bargain room with cheap books. The prices are usually 10% off some books and you can find coupons on their website. The staff is very helpful, but don't get lost in there!

This place is HUGE! You think you have a grasp on the size of it and then you see that there's another room, and another... It has a really eclectic collection of books, not just in terms of subject matter but in terms of very old books, gently used books, brand-new books, interesting gift items, calendars, etc., etc. Fun to spend a few hours browsing.

Oh how I love coming to this book store! I can't believe how much they've managed to cram into this old house in German Village. It really is a sight! I highly recommend coming here. Not only to buy books but just for the atmosphere but try not to get lost while shopping! lol It really is quaint.

If you go to German Village, the Book Loft is a must to stop at. They've crammed what looks like every book under the sun in a teeny little house. It's almost like a maze when you walk in. But somehow they've got everything organized. If you love books, you'll have a lot of fun shopping there.

This bookstore is in an old house in German Village and is truly a maze of rooms and hallways full to the gills of books! Each room/hallway has a theme and you can't necessarily get from one part of the store to another without going up and down a couple different flights of stairs. Going there is truly an adventure...the prices are good, the experience is great!
