We bought our pool from lighthouse pools in Canton. We had to have it installed twice. The Canton install crew led by a man named Andy is not recommended. The installation was a disaster with the pool support beams bowed outwards with the braces coming up through the bottom of the pool pushing the liner up. They threw their cigarettes butts in the yard and were totally unprofessional. The staff at the store was responsive to our calls when we were making the purchase but during the installation when we knew things weren't being done correctly they wouldn't answer our calls or return them. I was forced to drive to the store to get the manager to even acknowledge that he knew who we were and listen to our issues. His only response was that they were busy with other customers and would get to us when they could. Repeated calls to get the installation problems straightened out went unanswered until we called the corporate office and issued a charge back on our credit card. Then we received a phone call from the VP of Sales who had an installer from a different Litehouse location contact us to replace the liner and re-install the pool. Chris the installer from Ravenna was a complete professional and did a very good job. Bottom line we will NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM LITEHOUSE POOLS AGAIN. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THE CANTON OFFICE. They are the most arrogant team by far who haven't realized that courtesy to the customer should be a priority.

Nice quality spa but I get the impression they are WAY more interested in selling the spas than in servicing them. You get 3 free maintaince visits with purchase. Salesman very knowledgeable about the spa, but the "tech" I had was not at all friendly and accused us of damaging 2 of the jets. They actually just blew off when we turned the spa on. When I had trouble trying to remove the filter for regular cleaning and called, the service dept (which is closed on weekends) said I already had a scheduled visit. So I had to wait 2 weeks for them to come! (No doubt this will be blamed on me as well.) I have had much better luck buying chemicals and getting advice from Ferrall Pools. Probably should have gone there in the beginning.

Lighthouse did a liner replacement for me on an inground pool. They had no idea what they were doing, the liner looks terrible, big wrinkles, Refused to fix it. The staff is rude and unhelpful. I will never deal with them again and I would advise anyone with a pool to stay away from Lighthouse. I took my business to OHIO pools.

We bought our pool from Litehouse Pools. We have been servicing it through them ever since.....Won't be back. Poor service. Don't care! Arrogant and unwilling to satisfy our needs. After searching other pool stores around Stark County we have also discovered how majorly overpriced they are. You will definitely find better people and service elsewhere in the area.

I recently had some service work done by Litehouse pools,Spas and More, on a pool I purchased from them. Upon calling Litehouse pools service center, I discovered they have an established call out fee of $85.00 and it is an automatic fee for the service call.This is their service fee even after scheduling an appointment for a non-emergency and during normal business hours. ( Note:Most repair centers/companies waive this call out fee if they conduct a repair but Litehouse pools doesn't.) What I further discovered is that the part I needed was also exclusively made for Litehouse Pools, Spas and More and you must purchase the part from them.

We scheduled an appointment for service on a Monday and were informed a technician would be out on Friday between 12:00 P.M. and 4:00 P.M.

Four o' clock rolled around and no technician ( my wife lost 4 hours of wages so that the service call could be carried out). My wife then called the service office and was informed that their technician was running well behind schedule. Later that evening, I received a call from Litehouse pool service asking if they could reschedule for Saturday morning and that my repair would be the first for the day and the technician would be out between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. I agreed to their request attempting to be an understanding and loyal customer.

On Saturday at 8:05 a.m. , I received a call from a representative of Litehouse pools service. He told me my appointment was scheduled for 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. I was dumbfound with his statement and informed him we were told that we would be the first repair of the day. The service tech. then said they would be out at 8:30 a.m.

By the time they conducted the repair which took an hour and the service call my bill was already a $170.00 plus tax. The over all repair cost was nearly $300.00 which included the part.

What I find amazing in tough economic times is that a business of Litehouse pools, spas and more caliber, will ask you to be flexible to them but, unwilling to yield a service call fee.

So much with ethical and forthright business practices. I would not recommend a purchase / service work from Litehouse pools, Spas and More to anyone. They are unethical and unprofessional in my opinion Their loyalty is only to their corporate profits and not customer service.

Great Escape is a pool company and is just up the road from Litehouse Pools on Whipple Ave N.W., you also have Farrell Pools in Massillon, Ohio, Alantic Pools in Canton, Ohio try one of these other local Stark Co. companies. I know I'll never do business with Litehouse Pools, Spas and More.

I did like this place until I saw the prices. Some of the items I could get for almost $100 or more cheaper somewhere else. They did have a very good selection and just about anything you would need but the prices are just to steep for middle class income!
