The best Mexican restaurant around! My husband & I go there quite often. It's very clean & has a very nice atmosphere. You never have to wait too long to be seated & the food and service are excellent! I read one negative review on here and all I can say is...that person doesn't know what he's talking about!

REALLY you call that good salsa??? I was disappointed in the place for sure. I should have known upon entering at 7pm on a frday night only to be greeted by a 11 year old host. whats with that?? very unprofessional in my opinion. So the 11 YO shows us to a table. the salsa was the worst I have ever been served. very watery probably from all the jalapino juice. I had a chicken fajita quasidila...it was down right tasteless...and the chicken used is that processed crap..Ill say this, chef ramsey would shut you guys down in a heartbeat. chi chis was 100 times better than this place and we all know what happened to them....also I thought it was odd that about a minute and a half after we got our food the waiter comes back and says very boldly "IS IT GOOD" LOL I almost lost it...DON RAMONS = 2 thumbs down.

I happend across this place some years ago by accident. Since then I have made it a point to enjoy a meal here at least 9 or 10 times a year. It would be more often if not for the distance. The food is always fresh and the portions are just right. Also the menu gives a good break down of exactly what each dish entails... This is especially helpfull for people who may be a little less familiar with Mexican food. Dont miss out on a meal at this place. Also if you don't like the mild salsa sauce they include with your nachos, you can request the extra spicy... That's a tip from a man who's in the know.

Pros: Great fresh food and outstanding margaritas

Cons: I cant think of a single thing I don't like about this place

Don Ramon is my favorite Mexican Restaurant in the Cleveland area. Salsa, cheese dip, and guacamole are very important in my judgement of Mexican food, and Don Ramon has fresh, flavorful offerings of all three. The portions are impressive (if you're hungry check out the Grande special, if you want a lighter sampling of multiple items try the Fiesta Plato), service is efficient and no-nonsense, and they have nice prices on the margaritas. I now live in Minneapolis, where I have not yet found an equally impressive Mexican restaurant, and I make a point of visiting Don Ramon every time I visit my family in Cleveland.

Living in Ohio you dont get very good Mexican food unless you want tex-max style. This is some of the best food you can ever taste. The staff is great and even the owner is there all the time . You cant beat the price and taste of there food. I highly recommend it to anyone!

A must try for people who love Mexican food. Great quality (and quantity) for a great price. If you leave hungry, it's your own fault!

This place is truly incredible. The portion sizes are enormous and the prices are small! Two people can eat for less than $20 and have food to take home! \n\nThe menu is enormous and you could spend hours perusing it. My favorites are the platters that contain a little of everything. Tamales, rellenos and enchiladas in particular are good. They also have daily specials.\n\nWhat time you spend looking at the menu will be made up when they bring your food. I SWEAR the cook as ESP because it's like 5 minutes to get your dinner on a weeknight.\nChips & salsa while you wait are great!\n\nThe only problem is they don't take your name when you're waiting for a table. I don't that. They expect you to stand in a line which isn't easy with 30 people. The restaurant is big though, so you rarely have to wait. \n
