Lost my long time hairdresser of 25+ years and almost feel guilty saying I have found someone even better. Rhonda gives a great cut especially for me with fine hair. She been invaluable with tips on styling. I love the experiences that are offered when you come in and the atmosphere is very service oriented. The owners clearly know their business

Just went to their annual client appreciation party. They did FREE spa services, gave an unbelieveable discount on aveda and gift cards, and gave me a Christmas gift. I will now never leave, even if my stylist leaves. LOVE THEM.

Went to have my haircut there and it was the best haircut I have ever had. I have been to many hair salons in West Chester and have not been satisfied. I just wish I would have found them sooner.

I have gone to Ambience three times now. Once I saw Elizabeth, and the other two times I saw Karina. I have to admit that I was a little worried about seeing Elizabeth, Karina had highlighted my hair twice and I loved it! I believe that everyone shares their color formula so that's a plus. Elizabeth did an excellent job however. Never have I been to a salon, where they got color right.

Had my haircut by Audrey and for the money it was a great value. For 32 dollars she shampooed, gave me a chair massage, hand massage, and cut and styled my hair. When leaving I asked her how much is a customary tip; she said if you would like to thank me, all I ask is that you tell other people about your experience. Thanks Audrey for the haircut and thanks Ambience.

Whoever wrote those reviews on the previous posts COULD not have been to the same Ambience I went to. My last hair salon, one of the high profile salons spas in Cincinnati, completely ruined my hair. When I called to make my appointment the receptionist asked ME what type of hair I had so she could select the best person for me. She even asked me what my price range was. Never before had I called a salon and received such service from a desk employee. She selected Susanne because my hair was course and long. I wish I knew what the desk girl's name was because I would kiss her because Susanne not only fixed my cut, but gave me an amazing new look. Her asst Craig also did a great shampoo and did my scalp massage and he gave me hot towels to wrap around my hair while the conditioner did its work. Anyway, love this place. Everyone said hi to each to each other. I believe I even saw the owner greet each employee when she passed through. You never see that!

I always say that the hot tea that is offered at Ambience makes my hair look so much better. If only.....
I have been a client of Ambience for over two years now. I have never been more satisfied with my hairstyle. I am a former stylist, so I am aware of the training and dedication required to maintain a clientele. I have had Ashley as my stylist since my first visit. I would and have recommend her and the salon to friends and family, and complete strangers that compliment me on my hairstyle..
I have had other services at the salon, a pedicure and facial. I truly believe that this salon is the best I have experienced. I have had other services in Aveda salons in Florida, NY and MA, and have not been as satisfied.
I will remain a client, as long as I need a haircut and style..

Always Great Service!!

I have been getting my hair done at Ambience for about a year and a half. I was looking for someplace new and stumbled across the new talent special they had on their website. After my first appointment, I new I couldn't go anywhere else. Tara (my hair designer) did an amazing job and she still does my hair now. She talked to me about exactly what I wanted and what would work best for my hair type. I have thick hair that tends to get frizzy, so was thrilled.
I love the atmosphere at Ambience. And I really love the extra bit of pampering you get, even when you are only there to get a haircut. You get to choose 2 experiences with your haircut - I always choose the Shampoo Experience (it feels great when they wrap a hot towel around your head after applying conditioner) and for my second experience, I usually rotate between the Relaxing Hand Treatment and the Mini Facial. The experiences are done when you get your hair washed; the room is nice a dark and there is soft music playing. You can't help but relax!!!
I have also had a pedicure at Ambience and that was amazing as well. All the aromatherapy and soft lighting. I felt so pampered and relaxed, I wish I could get a pedicure there once a week!
Overall, Ambience is great. I am always greeted when I walk in the door and I hardly ever have to wait (even when I am a little early!). I highly recommend Ambience and I always tell my friends where I get my hair done!!!

Excellent Service for my Wedding

I had only been going to this salon for a couple of months, so I wasn't sure what to expect when I signed up for their wedding package. I couldn't have been more pleased with the results. Beyond the fact that my hair, nails and make-up looked great, each and every person went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that my experience was outstanding. I will definitely be returning and sending others to this salon!
Pros: The staff is quite outstanding and kind
Cons: Parking can be tough

I have homes in both Cincy and Saratoga Springs, NY and have been an Aveda customer for several years. Over the past 2-1/2 years, I have visited Ambience when I needed my hair cut and colored. When I first went there, I had a terrific stylist, however, she left and on my last 3 visits I have had different people each time and have not been happy with the results. On my last visit, I actually had 2 young women - one for color and the other for the cut - who were more interested in gossiping with each other than in focusing on their customer. Honestly I am not interested in salon politics! Plus, the color was too light even though she had my formula from previous visits. The stylist worked way too fast, resulting in an uncomfortable cut - my hair was pulled and my ear was nicked with the comb. I don't know why the rush as there were few customers while I was there.
When I went to my NY stylist, she took one look at me said, "What happened to your hair?" I have curly hair and it had been cut with a razor, thick sections for each cut, which resulted in it sticking out at various places on my head instead of laying in nice curls and waves. My NY stylist uses scissors and cuts only very thin sections with each cut. As a result, my hair looks nice and needs a minimum of care - pretty much wash & go.
So, Ambience may be a nice Spa, but I don't recommend their hair services. I won't be back!

Unsatisfied with service

I wasted my money getting an eye brow wax there. The spa person did not shape them at all or do them the way I asked her to. After the wax my brows still looked messy and outgrown. She waxed them to her preference, NOT mine. I asked the spa lady to trim them about 3 or 4 times and she would not do it. I thought it was rude.
When I went to pay I said that I was UNHAPPY with the job and the spa clerk at the front did nothing, she only asked if I wanted to schedule another time to come in.
It's a new, upscale looking salon, but it does not seem that they care about customer satisfaction. I will not be going there again.
