Old Gulf Inn

Went to the Gulf Inn recently. While there is a no smoking law in effect and I seen no one smoking the place reeked with smoke. My husband and I went there for a sandwich and drink. He returned from the men's restroom and promptly told me how filthy is was so we peeked in the kitchen doorway, it was also filthy. Needless to say we didn't eat even though we have heard they have great food.

The Gulf in is owned by friendly people and have excellent sandwiches and Chile. My older brother will sometimes stop at my house and we go there for lunch. It is within a mile from my house.
It is quick service and not that expensive. They know most of their customers by name and will converse with you if they have the extra time to do so. I will go there again as I recommend them to others.
