Primo's Deli

This place never disappoints. When we first moved to the area we drove by it because the outside wasn't so inviting. After finally going in with neighbors about 8 years ago we were hooked. The food is great. The Italian Sub, the Reuben, the Chicken Salad Sandwich, the Cold Salad Plate (with chicken, tuna, or egg salad & loads of fresh fruit & cottage cheese, hard-boiled eggs - need I say more). Chips are served when you sit down - it's "Seat Yourself" by the way - be sure to ask for the ranch to dip the chips into. The potato & macaroni salad and cole slaw are homemade and all very good. There is a huge selection of beer & wine to choose from. Many desserts, too. The wait staff all have many years of service there and are great. You will have a great time checking out all of the old album covers hanging around. This is a prime example of an establishment keeping things simple - great atmosphere, great food, great prices, very laid back. The only negative thing is they are not open on Sundays!

The soup is amazing alon with the sandwiches. I go there everyday for lunch, especially because of the low prices on everything. I love the enviorment and especially the friendly workers.

This place has the best deli sandwiches. They pile on a lot of meat and cheese or whatever you want and they taste great. I think they have won some kind of award for the best sandwiches in Akron for the last couple of years. This place is much better than any other sub or deli shop around here and the prices are pretty good.
