Dr. Christy, Dr. Helsinger, and Dr. Hapner are the best.... Their staff are a bunch of caring, professional, and kind people. They take care of four of our Basset Hounds. As important as anything else is they way the Doctors and Staff worked with my wife when we lost our elder basset to cancer. Her first pet and her favorite. 5 star service.

We've been with Northridge Animal Clinic for 30 years and I hightly recommend them to anyone. They've always been there for us & then some. Dr Cristy & his team are awesome. We started with them when it was known as Wilson's Animal Clinic. They are absolute angels and the staff out front are awsome. Gina is my go to person when I need advice. She has been with the clinic longer than we have & she is a blessing. They are the best! Cynthia & Dave Newcomb 5 stars

I went to Dr. Christy a few years ago, but was referring someone to him and came across this page and wanted to comment. My regular vet referred me to Dr. C when we wanted to get our Boxer pup's ears done. We were VERY nervous about having this done because we had gone to another vet south of Dayton just months before for the same procedure and they called us and told us that our puppy died on the table. I was devastated, furthermore, the vet had the audacity to send us a check up card in the mail for our deceased pup to come in for shots (couldn't believe it!!) Anyway, Dr. C came highly recommended from our vet and we were pleasantly suprised with the whole experience of Northridge Animal Clinic. Not only did he do a FABULOUS job on our dog's ears, but the staff was great and the clinic was always clean. If I didn't already have a vet, I would definitely go to him with all my pets. I recommend him to anyone who asks me for a vet and especially someone who is looking to get their dog's ears cropped.

Recently my parents had two doggies pass that they have taken to (all their past doggies to) this clinic since it was WIlson's many years ago. This cinic is great and always have been.

I find it upsetting that my parents had to pay to have their doggies put down after spending 1000's there over the many years. I realize the drugs cost money, but.. that should still be something offered to loyal customers at their doggie's time of death.

And when they mail the Sorry for your loss card 2 days later. It only made my parents start crying again. Give those out at the time they pick the passed doggie up. It was hard enough on them losing them to only be reminded two days later.

Not to drone on...

A couple years ago I had my dog there for something and had a question which I thought was a good one and a professional might know the answer to.

My dog would sometimes flip his bowl over and nose at it a lot before eating it. Like something was wrong with it. I asked WHY to the Asian lady vet at the time. And her response was. "Because it's a Dog". Kinda snotty like even. I said I was hoping an educating vet might have a better response to this than that. She was pretty snooty after that.

Later, I researched it myself and found that it was Separation Anxiety OR, the dog does smell something odd and does not like it. He never noses his bowl around if it has left-over some home cooking in it.

Respectfully,
Leda

I absolutely love Dr. Christy. I have taken all my pets to him because of his caring demeanor. He took care of my old man bunny (13 years old!) when he had a stroke, he has taken care of my dog when he was sick, and he and his staff have always given me sound, caring advise when I call. I tell all my friends and family to take their pets to Dr. Christy and the Northridge Animal Clinic!

We've been going to this animal clinic since 1987. They've treated our 4 dogs, 8 cats, a few strays. The Doctors and staff are all so very kind and knowledgeable, they're true animal lovers and very skilled. The clinic is clean and comfortable, and they don't keep you waiting!

I have been coming to Northridge Clinc every since I was a little girl with my parents and pets, Now I come and I am 37. I have 2 dogs and 4 cats. I would not trade vets. Dr. Christy is awesome and the other vets that are in there are great as well. They do love animals, I know that first hand. I have seen some of the girls that work there tear up a few times. Very genuine.

Three years ago my family bought a old four month Miniature Pincher. We had no experience with the Vets in this area, so this was a totally new experience, we just picked this clinic for location convenience. It was a routine new pup check-up, our pup got the all clear for the Dr. About a week or so later we noticed our pup slowing down and that night our baby's temp went up, he was pale, breathing erratically, it was awful. I'm a nurse so we got him through the night with care and prayer. We rushed him to the clinic the next morning and the whole facility was mobilized. They were so knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate. They were concerned that he might have "kennel cough". When we took him in that morning he was limp, pale, hot, he looked near dead. They kept him that day hydrating him, giving him antibiotics, nurturing him and loving on him. To make a long story short within three days he was pretty perky and today he is a gorgeous "Roe" colored male. Of course Dr. Christy did his ears, tail, dew claws and neutering. He did such a great job our little "Neo" is "cut" and as handsome as the large breed Dobie. We've taken all of pets there. The facility is always clean, orderly, no weird smells, etc.The staff is wonderful, they call your pets by name, their personalities are perfect for the career they have chosen. The fees are comparable with other services and they are flexible with some things. Our family highly recommends the Northridge Animal Clinic to everyone we meet and for any pet. We've also consulted them before buying a pet and they've advised us of the Pros and Cons of this pet fitting in with our family's personality. Always helpful, calming manner and informative. Thanks for letting me share.

This has been my vet of choice for over 20 years. They always remember me and everyone always acts like they truly love animals. Dr. C. is my favorite, but the other vets are really nice too. I have never had a bad experience here. There are separate waiting areas for dogs and cats and the staff is always helpful and friendly.
