This toy store is a main stay in the heart of downtown Chillicothe. The staff is very willing to assist you in finding what you are looking. They also help people find an appropriate toy for the age group you are shopping for. They also will order a particular toy you are looking for often when you are still at the front desk. The help is always very nice and greets you with a smile. I love this store!!!

I LOVED Bavarian Toy Works! I was very disappointed last time I went there and it wasn't there anymore. Has it moved or folded? Anybody know? I really miss it. I have 11 grandchildren now, and I always did my best Christmas shopping there. Marlene

Give us a call if you need directions.If you are looking for a unique or educational toy, this is definitely the place to go. Like the other reviews stated, they have a great selection of brand name and educational toys, things that you wont find at any other store. Infact, they have so much there is hardly any room to walk around! They need a bigger location! My son goes crazy there because there is so much stuff. The prices are a tad high when compared to department stores but when considering the quality and uniqueness of their toys, they are well worth it. They have a great selection of baby toys too and also unique small toys that are great for stocking stuffers, small gifts, etc. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

The Bavarian Toy Works is a small store, but packed full of a big selection of educational toys. They carry well known brands of toys such as Hello Kitty, Legos, Thomas the Tank Engine and much much more. Because they only carry the "big" brands it is a bit expensive, but in my opinion, well worth the expense to find such great eduactional toys for kids.

If you haven't shopped here, you've gotta check it out. They have a lot of unique toys you won't find at Walmart and Kmart. Models, educational toys, and just plain fun toys. My kids love checking it out to see what they have new. I'm not a kid, but I love looking to see what they have too.
