I absolutely love eating old fashion strawberry cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory! Yes it is about $5.00 per slice but it is worth every single penny. Each slice served is big enough for two. Next time you are in Cleveland, Ohio, make sure you stop by Legacy Village.

A bit expensive but the meals are presented beautifully. The cheese cake (so many to pick from) are the best. The staff is pleasant. I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes for a seat.

Yikes, are we a gullible society. If there is a line outside of a restaurant, we assume it to be good. Like so many others, we were drawn into the trap. Unlike others, we are willing to admit our mistake and help other to avoid the horrible waste of hard-earned money. Virtually everything on the menu is too expensive. We regularly eat at some of the best places in Cleveland. We happily pay for GOOD food. When cut-rate quality is served, it should at least be cheap. That is not the case here. If you feel the urge to wait in line to eat, do it at a place that will reward you with a great meal afterwards. Wait in line at Lola's, wait in line at Parallax, wait in line at Monica's (a little Jamaican restaurant on E185th). Each of those will be worth the effort. Don't be drawn in by the crowd and wait for overpriced and bland cheesecake or the "stuff" they call food served beforehand. Don't listen to the people who feel compelled to profess their admiration for this place, because they waited to get in. "Its got to be good, we waited two hours to get a seat!" is not a reason for a positive review. You've been warned! Don't say we didn't tell you!

I like the menu here; it has a little bit of every cuisine so everyone can be satisfied. - Pasta, Cajun, Thai, American, etc. The food tends to be big portions and big prices. It's pretty good, but could be better. The restaurant itself is really nice decor. Sometimes the service leaves something to be desired.

I absolutely love this place! It's a good hour and a half away from me but it's definitely worth the drive! The portions of food you get are very generous and for being a more upscale restaurant the prices aren't so bad. Word of advice if you're going to dine here.. take left overs from dinner out in "doggie bags" because you have to save room for 1 slice out of the 34 varieties of cheesecake and they are every flavor imaginable!

PROS: Cheesecake!!
CONS: The long waits and no reservations!

I went to The Cheesecake Factory after it opened since it was the talk of the town. I think it's overrated and overpriced. I ordered a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. Honestly, Great Steak & Potato Co. in the mall makes a more tasty sandwich than they did.

For a drink, I had apple juice. They charged $3.25, gave me a very small cup (perhaps 8 oz. - I was sipping sparingly to make it last the whole meal), which was ridiculous. I'm by no means frugal, but that is beyond being ridiculous. I could buy two jugs of apple juice at the grocery store for that price.

The cheesecake was very good, I admit. It was much better than any homemade cheesecakes I've ever had. I'd buy a cheesecake from them and skip the mediocre & overpriced culinary foods & drinks.

PROS: The cheesecake
CONS: The long waits, the overrated foods, the prices

This restaurant is sooo good! Be prepared for a very long wait! We usually go here without the kids because the wait is so long and they don't have a kids menu. The food is worth the wait, and the cheesecake is TO DIE FOR!

It is a bit pricey here but for the amount of food you receive and the quality you are getting what you paid for. The portions are huge and so far I have not received a bad meal here. All the servers I've had are very attentive and do their best to anticipate your every need. Oh and you cannot leave here without trying one of their cheesecakes. There are so many to choose from, but they are all to die for!

Depending on where you sit, the atmosphere can be fairly private to noisy. The hues and fixtures create a lush feel, almost to the point of decadence.

We've eaten here at least 10 times, with only one negative incident. Having waited ~40 minutes for our meal, my husband got his Cajun Jambalaya Pasta, which was horridly overcooked; obvious even at a glance. After informing the server, the dish was replaced within 10 minutes with profuse apologies by the server and manager. I'm enamored with the Bang-Bang Chicken and Shrimp, so it is the only dish I've ordered here.

The cheesecakes are fabulous, especially the Kahlua. Portions are more than adequate for the price.

If you don't want to wait, avoid coming at standard dinner hours. Outside of that, we have always been seated immediately.

This was my first experience at The Cheesecake Factory after hearing lots about it, not sure what to expect. HUGE menu, excellent food, a little pricey but something for everyone. We were seated immediately. Portion sizes were adequate. Only had water - the alcoholic beverages were quite spendy.

The restaurant policy is no reservations. We waited over TWO HOURS to be seated. There was no where to sit while waiting. Most of us stood the entire time. Simply ridiculous.

We finally got to our table, and the waitress was wonderful. She took our orders promptly and helped make suggestions for the undecided. I was particularly suprised to find diet food on the menu. I had the grilled mahi-mahi, rice and broccoli. One of the members of our party complained that the food wasn't hot, and they made her an entirely new plate of food. I was impressed.

Then it was check time. My check was somewhat reasonable compared to the others. My one alcoholic beverage and my entree came to $35. Most of the others had 1-2 alcoholic drinks, entree and a piece of cheesecake and spent close to $60-$70. That was too much for one person.
