It is with utmost disgust that I write this review because that is how foul my experience of the establishment is. I truly hope that this review deters you completely from ever going here, and I hope that the business goes under, and the owner/operator becomes a pathetic homeless bum as he deserves.

I was having computer problems, and I found the store and decided to take my machine there for repair. Upon arrival of the store, I tell the owner what problems I was encountering, what troubleshooting steps I had taken to diagnose the issue, the results of those diagnostics, and remaining questions in my mind, as well as what I felt the potential issues were. Upon this, the owner/operator decided to stress that it would cost $30 for a diagnosis, and that it would be a diagnosis only, and absolutely no repairs whatsoever. He clearly wanted to establish that he would be doing as little work as humanly possible, and wanted to ensure he would still get paid.

I'll never know why I didn't take this cue to just leave the store immediately, but I figured, what harm could there be in a diagnosis, right? He's probably got tools and spare parts to at least do some tests and give me some more information. What could possibly be the harm, right? WRONG.

After I agree to the price and nature of his work, he says he'll get back to me in 2 days. After 3 days pass and I don't hear from him at all, I call and ask for a status update on the machine. He tells me that his tests have thus far been inconclusive. Knowing a thing or two about computers, I ask him to divulge me a bit more about the nature and results of the test. After I listen to him fumble around with some words and explanation for a while, I ask him if he has even looked at the machine yet, to which he finally admits that he hasn't had the time to look at the machine, but will do so within 24 hours.

Over 48 hours later I receive a call from him telling me that my computer was fine... which clearly wasn't the case. At this point I'm fairly confident that all he did to the machine was turn it on, but I give him the benefit of the doubt (I have no idea why). He tells me that if I continue to have issues, it is most likely a faulty Windows installation. I ask him if he can verify this, and make sure it isn't a Hard Drive issue or something else.

I tell him very CLEARLY, that my primary hard drive contains only the Windows installation, and has no pertinent data, but however, my secondary hard drive contains gigabytes of crucial data that I absolutely cannot lose. After arguing with me about the nature of the request, he finally agrees that he MIGHT do it.

A few days later, he says that a new Windows installation is working just fine, and that I could pick it up. Naturally though, after I bring it home, I discover that my primary Hard Drive is disconnected completely, and my Secondary Hard Drive containing EVERYTHING, has been wiped and is being used as the Windows boot device.

Upon confrontation of this, typical to the owner/operator, he goes into why I was wrong the whole time, and he was acting only as he was instructed, and that he had put in the amount of work for which he had been paid.

So, long story short, I paid $30 to get virtually no results, no diagnosis, still a broken computer, the worst user interaction experience of my life with an employee, and a completely formatted hard drive lacking years and years of personal data.

I would take personal satisfaction if you reading this never visit this establishment other than to deface it in some way. Additionally, if this review deters you from the business venue and you take a moment to let me know this, I would be very very grateful.
