Salon La

Douglas at Salon LA is the best stylist in Cincinnati. Great sense of style, incredible sense of hair and what will work well, I have been going to him for over 10 years, and leave each appointment feeling great.

I went to Salon LA and had my hair cut by Jill. She did a great job, I really liked it. The price was not so bad either.

I had my hair cut at LA Salon when they were located on 4th street and when it was under 30.00 dollars. My haircut takes 20 minutes to do- from wash to finish. When they moved to Rookwood their cuts now cost over 45.00 and I do not think their sylists are that good.

Salon LA is located in Rookwood Commons and is a hidden gem as far as haircuts go. The other well-known salons in Cincinnati pale in comparison to the top-of-the-line haircut you can get here! Much better than Mitchell's. Walk ins are welcome, and you can usually make an appointment with only one days notice.

I usually don't give bad ratings but this was rediculous... my husband paid almost as much as I would have for a haircut and got a really sub-par service. Not only the hair was cut uneavenly, the stylist didn't even look at the neck - left it as it was. And it took forever! If you are a guy, find a good barber and stick with it.

CONS: Poor quality
