Hotel Gallery

I am from Florida and came to Hotel Gallery with a friend from Ohio. I was in awe of this shop, purchased quite a bit and will be going back for another shopping trip before I leave this area

The Hotel Gallery is a treasure trove of wonderful things. The proprietors, Sally & Steve Watson are friendly and welcoming, and have been building this center for art and music in Tipp City for twenty years. Sally's pottery is a delight to see, touch and use! You can find oriental rugs, photographs, amazing jewelry, paintings, and more available for purchase.The building itself actually was a hotel from about 1852 or so until 1925, and the lovely character of this historic building is still evident.The hotel rooms on the second floor still exist and are now rented out as individual shops for various artisans and a relaxation massage therapist. And although the building does have that antique air about it you can find traditional watercolors as you might expect , as well as more contemporary art. Some of the artists also use their spaces as gallery and working studio. Visitors to the studios are always welcome. Some of the artists are also available for art instruction. The third floor of The Hotel Gallery is home to Sing Watson Studio, started by Amy Watson. Here instruction in voice, piano, guitar and improvisational theater are available. Sing Watson Studio produces quality stage productions several times a year at the Tipp Roller Mill. All of the merchandise available for sale at The Hotel Gallery may be purchased at the central cashier on the first floor.

The Hotel Gallery in downtown Tipp City is an old hotel, turned antique gallery. On the three levels of this hotel there are different rooms rent out to antique vendors of all types. The rooms all have different themes. It is a bit like walking back in time going through this old hotel. On the first floor they have live music on the weekend and old coke machine that still sell Coke in the bottle. The local owners are very nice and welcoming. The antiques vary in price. This is a great place to find one of a kind antiques and old fashioned atmosphere.
