Reisbeck Food Markets Incorporated

While shopping at Reisbeck I was impressed by the friendliness of the manager, the deli workers and "dairy man". The prices of the sale items were comparable to other stores I've been in lately. The only thing that I was not impressed and some might not think it is worth mentioning, was the fact that many of the people working the front end were chewing gum. Mouths wide open and disgusting. I really don't like to listen to employees chomp and crack their gum and watch it roll around in their open mouths. Very unprofessional.

I am so verrrrry glad Reisbeck's chose to build a new store in Bridgeport. I live nearby and for years had a pick between Big Bear and Giant Eagle. It was really a pain to have to go to St. Clairsville or Martins Ferry every time you needed more than a few groceries.
I have had nothing but excellant service from the people that work in this store. The product line is not quite as extensive as some of the other stores but I have found that if I have a specific product that I like to use, I ask for it at the store and they will get it for me. What more can you ask. Overall, I give this store five (5) stars and hope it will be there a long long time.

Iroically I had just read the reviews on Reisbecks and then visited the store the next day. I have to agree with the unfriendliness. The young lady who checked me out was not pleasant in any shape or form. No hello, no thank you. As for the prices they were having some good sales but the produce isn't the best by far.

Management is very unfriendly. Prices are way too high, the fruits and veggies are old. Potatoes and onions are rotten. Selection of products is limited.

I was really excited when Reisbecks came to my hometown of Bridgeport. We had been needing a grocery store since Giant Eagle closed. Unfortunately I am VERY disappointed with the overall store. The majority of the prices are very high. Produce is very lousy as is the meat. Most of the employees are friendly with the exception of a few crabs. If you write a check, be careful, they have a tendancy to forget to give your ID back! When the store first opened, the baggers would carry your groceries out to your car. Now they seem to have become lazy and try to persuade you from wanting their help. Today I did have a bagger load my car but he put the birthday cake I had purchased on it's side and it was all smashed. I didn't have time to take it back. As I got ready to put the candles on the cake, they were broke. I've had it with this store and will be shopping at Krogers once again.

The store is very clean and friendly staffed. They always have good sale ad every week. The hot food bar has excellent baked chicken and they have an awesome spinach dip. They always have united dairy milk on sale at fantastic price. They are building a new REISBECKS in Bridgeport which will be alot more convenient. Occasionaly they have a meat and produce sale at awesome prices.
