My Friend's Deli & Restaurant

I don't know how in today's economy that any restaurant can afford to be so rude and inhospitable. I have been a regular patron at My Friends for the past 5 years, and I will never go there again. From the time I walked in I was un-welcomed by the greeter. Then when I asked to be seated near an electrical outlet, I received more negative feedback. ( My infant son is on an apnea monitor, it does have a battery but I needed to make sure I had access to a plug. Which I explained to the hostess) She didn't want us to have said table, because of lunch crowd. Even though I was in there at 10:48 a.m, and the place was virtually empty. She then refused to honor our coupon., that was good until 11am. We should have left, but I had to small children with me. Towards the end of are meal another friend joined us, who thankfully was there to witness what happened next. The manager came over and said that I could not use the outlet. That it was not for customer use. I know for a fact, This is not true, I frequent this restaurant. I was in the same area the day before, and there was a group of college kids with a laptop plugged in to that exact spot, as well as a cell phone. I left there angry and disappointed, and I paid to be treated that way. I will never again give any money to an establishment that treats its customers that way. I hope others will take heed and give notice, by not giving them your money either. There are plenty of good restaurants that have great customer service, and treat there patrons with dignity and respect.

I have eaten here many times and they have never disappointed me. The food is always good and the service is nice. My only complaint is that sometimes it seems as if it is not as clean as it could be and I can tell that some of the dishes are processed foods instead of cooked by the chef. But for the price and convenience, I would recommened this restauraunt.

My Friend's Deli & Restaurant has been around for a long time. It is located close to the Lakewood border on Detroit Avenue. Like most of the places in Lakewood - parking stinks. You can park behind it but best to park on the street I believe.

One nice thing about this place is how it's open 24 hours a day. That means no matter when, you can stop by and order a nice half slab of ribs for just $7.95. They carry a typical American food menu, such as lentil soup, eggs, sandwiches and more. You'll get your order quick, correct, and with a smile from your waitress. It's a place for a nice relaxing mail - be it ever so simple but tasty just the same.

My Friend's Deli and Restaurant is located on W. 117th and Detroit avenue where Cleveland and Lakewood meet. They are open 24 hours and they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have a kids menu and their prices are average. There is a parking lot at the side of the building and in the back. They have delicious deserts and you can also order party trays for your special occasions.

This is a great spot to stop for a lunch or a take out sandwich. Their menu has a lot of choices and is very reasonable. This is a good place to meet friends or to take the whole family.
