The pizzas and breads are great here, but the thing I crave and miss is their crackers. They are like none I've had before and just the best
accompaniment to good cheese, fruits, humus, peanutbutter, anything your heart desires. YUM

After fourteen years of working for crumbs, now part worker-owner, would highly recomend all of the wonderful organic and all natural products! We are also working on our web site crumbsbakery.biz

If I could, I would build an interstate straight to Athens for the export of Crumb's chocolate chip cookies to the rest of the world. Truly Athens' greatest product since bricks, students and Late Nite Pizza -- twice baked potato pie. Which, I believe, may have been a Crumb's product as well.

I used to get Crumb's Bakery crackers at the Wild Oats in Cincinnati. Since Whole Foods has bought the franchise, it looks like they're phasing out the Crumb's crackers. This is unimaginable, because there are no other crackers like the Crumb's!! I could go on and on about the many delicious combinations we've discovered work well on these hardy crackers (goat cheese and raspberry jam, bleu cheese and anchovies and avocado, the list is endless). I'm hoping to be able to order direct from the bakery, which is how I found this review section. I couldn't resist adding my 2 cents.

Crumbs Bakery in Athens is awesome which is why folks at Great Harvest are working hard to destroy their reputation. Crumbs has been a worker-owned cooperative for over 20 years and produces whole grain organic breads as well as other specialty breads, cookies, cakes, and more. Their reputation is great and they have never had any issues such as described in some of these reviews. Complete fiction. Try the products for yourself and you will see.

Imagine warm, soft, but firm enough to hold onto, cookies ...almost the size of your face ...then imagine they were perfectly speckled with dark chocolate pieces so that every bite had just the right cookie / chocolate ratio...then discover how guiltless you feel because you found out they were made with healthy ingredients like whole wheat flour and organic/ free trade dark chocolate. Yes they were the best chocolate chip cookies I ever tasted.

Crumbs makes REAL bread, not some squishy-squashy sponge stuff. Almost everything they make is organic or contains organic ingredients. At the Athens Farmers Market, it's hard to even get to their booth because of the line -- they do far more business there than any other vendor. They make fantastic crackers, too. They're now developing their muffin line more.

Crumbs works out of ACENet, in a licensed, regulated full-service kitchen, which is regularly inspected. Perhaps the other reviewer was having a bad day. There are also many other people working out of the same kitchen for many other businesses, and this may have been what the other reviewer saw.

I haven't been to the bakery, but Crumb's has a stand at the farmer's market in Athens and I can vouch for their delicious breads and bagged granola. The price is fair for the quality of product you receive.

If your looking for fresh baked goods then stop by crumbs on columbus road. There cookies are superb and very well priced. We had a large get together at work and had no problem walking right in and getting a wide selection of cookies and donuts. They also offer wedding cakes at a very good price. The only draw back is there hours .I would suggest staying open a little later in the day for us working folks
