These are the WORST potato chips i've ever had. The pretzels taste like cardboard. Popcorn taste stale. We had a party and bought the pound bags...they were still in the bowl at the end of the night. NOBODY liked them!! Now they raised their prices..HA HA HA!! We bought them in Illinois and recently heard that they were kicked out of the stores. Good-bye sucky chips go back to Ohio, stick to Frito-Lay or buy a local brand like Vitners.

I love your chips but cannot get them in Florida brought some back fro up north but ran out yesterday. Do not care to get any others after eating your brand.

Grew up in Sandusky Ohio on Ballreich's and have been a mail order junkie of them since leaving in 1973! Getting a little pricey, but I'll pay more for the best chip ANYWHERE! University of Georgia and Auburn University students have also been exposed the product. I couldn't ship enough of them to my daughters and friends there.
I would represent this product anywhere in the Southeast, my territory!

They seem extra salty but if you check the nutrition info there is less sodium than Lays chips.I live in Utah and order them on line 8 pounds at a time.http://www.ballreich.com/order.html

I love Ballreich Chips! And if you don't like salt they do offer the salt free chips. Have you ever tried them with m&m's? They are great! you should get a bag!

I find that Ballreichs chips are on the greasy side and almost too salty. And the recent price hikes are making them some of the most expensive potato chips around that are not worth the money.

I remember when they were $1.99 for a pound bag, now they are over $4 for a pound bag.

And I also remember that years ago the chips always had a Fresh taste to them, they no longer have that good fresh taste to them. I am thinking they changed the way they process the chips or something.

Sometimes I still try a bag of them to see if they have improved them recently or not.

After trying some a while back the chips to me almost taste like they add some leftover chicken grease for flavoring to the oil they cook the chips in, they just don't have that same old fresh taste they did years ago.

Its not just me, as other people I talk to about the chips say the same thing as the chips don't have the same taste, and some people I know cannot even eat them as they get heartburn so bad from the chips, guessing its something in the oil causing that.

This is the factory address, you can find the chips in stores all over north-western Ohio. Look for the white bags with distinctive red or blue striped borders. Growing up in Tiffin, I had no idea how good these chips were, until I moved away into an area not supplied by them! Bummer! So, have them shipped to you. The factory used to offer tours, a highlight of the local school children's academic year. They even gave us free bags. The chips are wavy, salty, and a little greasy. The prices are average chip prices. All the 'normal' flavors are available. Try them, you'll be hooked.

PROS: Best potato chips in the world.
CONS: Only regularly supplied in North-West Ohio
