My daughter had recently started with ECOT, she is more focus and feels more confident. Her grades have improved 100% and I know where she is when school is in cession. I can take her along on my business trips and not be concerned about child care.

I started off at Ecot as a 16 year old 9th grade student. I was 2 years behind. All of my friends were in 11th grade and not me.
The Teachers there are so nice and unlike public school, they tell you can do it, and help you with your work, instead of getting annoyed and yelling at you for not understanding it. They want to see you pass!
It was nice to be able to do work when i wanted, and at my own pace !
IQ-ity was simple, and easy to understand and figure out.

My councelor was nice, and was there when i needed her.
Also, there's options to be able to meet other ecot students, and my ecot friends are probably some of the best friends i have now.
Ecot's summer school program is a great deal, $50.00 for a course, and if you pass you get your money back, what else is better ??

I started off at ecot August 27th 2009 as a 9th grader.
I will start back at ecot August 27th 2010 as a 11th grader. All because of ecot. I'm thankful for it.

I had trouble attending school and hadn't really been good at school in general. Once I heard about ECOT from my middle school counselor I figured I'd give it a try since my chosen high school was a bust. I pretty much knew going in that I probably wouldn't graduate, and thought that since it was "just like a public school, only it's online", I would be able to withdrawal. Why not especially if my mom would approve, right? Wrong. ECOT is "too flexible" to withdrawal.
They have ripped me off in credits, giving me all the wrong classes...All to where if I did finish school at ECOT I wouldn't graduate until about the age of 21. I've wasted two extra years at this school when I could have already gotten my career on track.
Not to mention that getting ahold of anyone at that school is nearly impossible. If you e-mail someone, you usually wait about two weeks until they get back to you, if they bother to write back at all. If you call, you'll be put on hold for forever, then be redirected to an answering machine.
Others have had a good experience, but as for me and three other of my personal friends that have used ECOT did us no good. So, from my experience, this school isn't worth the headache. Enroll at your own risk.

My oldest daughter attended ECOT for her Freshman and Sophomore year because of medical problems. Because of her frequent trips to the Hospital, home schooling was the best option for us but traditional home schooling in our situation would not have worked. When talking to her guidance counselor she talked about online schooling. I began doing research and I found ECOT to be affiliated with Columbus Public Schools yet she could use a computer which they provide along with Internet access they pay for to attend school without leaving home. This answered our prayers. She was in constant contact with teachers via email and chat sessions, mailed and given assignments/tests online. Because of online schooling with ECOT she was able to get her full credits for these 2 years. Thank God for ECOT because if she had not been able to have online schooling she would have continued in regular schooling but missing days which would have most likely lead her to repeat these school years. Bravo to ECOT and I highly recommend it to anyone with children in grades K-12.

PROS: Constant Access to Assignments, Wonderful Teachers, Convenient
CONS: Possible Equipment Repair, Cable ISP Only

Our son has been attending this school since September of this year. It's a unique concept allowing children to do this online. They allow kindergarten through 12th grade. They have live chat sessions, tests, work online, mail in projects to the teacher, and so much more. Our son is so happy to be in this. He has Science, Social Studies, English and Math this semester and they add Physical Education for the 2nd semester. I'd highly recommend this school.
