Bronz

My boyfriend and I went to Bronz 12/11/09. He ordered two beers and left the female bar tender a dollar tip. About ten minutes later, I went to go order another beer. The bar tender was busy and I patiently stood by waiting for my turn. I stood directly in front of the cash register. After about five minutes it became clear I was being ignored. She started to take orders from people coming into the club, all the while still ignoring me. I tried to get her attention, thinking maybe it was not apparent I wanted a drink but to no avail. Finally, she took my order after at least fifth teen minutes. I ordered one beer and handed her a twenty dollar bill. She gave me one dollar and seventy-five cents back. I quickly tried to alert her to this, again thinking it was a mistake, but yet again was ignored. My boyfriend came to see why it had taken so long. I explained the situation and he then tried to get her attention. She completely ignored us both. He then grabbed a straw and waved it at her face and still nothing. Only when he put his hands in front of the register did she finally stop, annoyed as if we had done something wrong. He told her that I had given her a twenty and she gave me incorrect change. Another customer asked her if this was true and she replied "yeah, I know" before giving me change. Only later did I realize that she still ripped me off giving my only eleven dollars and seventy-five cents back. Again, I ordered one bud-light. Later that night, my boyfriend called to complain. A woman working there said the bar tender had ignored me because I was being rude which of course is a flat out lie. I was never rude through the entire incident. When questioned about the stealing of the money, she didn't have any real comment other than to try and blame me for being "rude" which again, I never was. I have worked in customer service and always am very patient with people in this field. The bar tender is a thief and a liar. She should lose her job. If she tried this to me, who else has she done this to.

This is a neat little bar. It caters mostly to an alternative crowd and is rather small, but the staff is really friendly. It gets voted best gay bar in Cincinnati almost every year. The club only has one problem... A very small dance floor. But, the friendly people make up for it. Most of the patrons of this club are as upbeat and nice as the staff.
