Less than 60 days after buying a Recliner and Sofa from Highland Heights Furniture Fair, for an 85 year old man for his birthday, the recliner broke. When we went to see what could be done about it, it was a joke. While quietly explaining to one of the girls behind the desk (so other customers would not be discouraged) another girl further back all of a sudden got involved. She had a major attitude with her words, voice, face and body language. Very unprofessional. Finally she walked off. (don't even know why she got involved, she was useless). Anyway, back to the origional girl. Basically she said she was sorry, but we'd have to contact the furniture maker in North Carolina, and they might, again they might fix our furniture, but they'd probably charge us. Is this place a joke or what. Furniture Fair should have contacted them, not us, and there should have been no charge. Just another local washed up company who takes your money, and then disposes you. My advice. Run as fast as you can away from this company. I tell everybody this is a crappy place with classless people. Typical Cincinnati really. What a joke. I hope they file for chapter 11 this year. This is why Circuit City went out of busineess. (treating their customers like common garbage). You've been warned. BEWARE, and RUN RUN RUN, and DON'T LOOK BACK.

once again, Funiture Fair has gone ABOVE AND BEYOND the call of duty with not only their friendly and helpful staff but to everyone involved, (including the guys on the dock area).....
we are in the process of moving to a new home and have purchased furniture from Furniture Fair and another nearby competitive furniture store..... i must say that Furniture Fair is SO much easier to deal with in 95% of aspects involved.
Obviously everybody can't be pleased 100% of the time but my husband and I are two very happy customers that will return AGAIN for a fourth time to buy "another" peice of furniture in the future from FF
THANK YOU FOR DOING SUCH A WONDERFUL JOB AGAIN FF...

We purchased a Berkline sofa/loveseat from them in April 2010. It was very defective and disappointing. The sent a guy named Sam out to fix it but it was a waste of time and he left with it still defective. They were good though about it and said they'd send me out a brand new one. But when it came it was the wrong thing. Finally we asked for a refund as the leg rests on both pieces kept popping out by themselves and was actually dangerous. They were willing to refund our $, which I give them full credit for and the manager was fantastic about this. We ended up ordering an altogether different set which gets delivered today. We're nervous that this Berkline set will be as poor quality and defective as the other one, and since this one was special order, not sure how good they'll be about it if it is. But so far, they've not given me reason to think that they will be. The Colerain Store manager, Tim, was very nice to work with. I did not find the sales people pushy at all and very patient. No one offered me stain resistant service as I hear so many others complain of.

We too are VERY UNSATISFIED with Furniture Fair. We have purchased every piece of furniture from them since 1996 and there service has been horrible in the last 3 years! Do not buy the Furniture Fair JUNK! They will not hold to their warranty and will not return calls!

We have always been extremely loyal customers of Furniture Fair. Nearly every piece in our home has been purchased from the Fairfield location (at least 25K dollars). Now, we will never buy from them again.\r
Our most recent purchase in January has left us stunned. This morning we finally received the last piece (a dresser) that was supposed to be delivered the second week in February. Not only were we not told that the dresser wasn't going to be delivered, we were told that it was in stock when we made the purchase. \r
In addition to this issue, we purchased a second set of bunkbeds. We chose one in the showroom based on the rubber-coated ladder hooks. We are not able to screw the ladder to the bed (due to young family and friends) so we were thrilled to find a ladder that would not scratch the wood - as we have learned is inevitable.\r
The bed was delivered in February, and of course, it was not the same ladder in the showroom. Please keep in mind, that we had at least a 30 minute discussion with our sales person on the ladder issue. Her words to us, these new ""rubber coated"" ladders were what all the manufacturers were going to. I asked if any of the other beds on display could be ordered with a rubber coated ladder. She said no - that right now, there were only three that came that way. I believe that I made a joke about what would happen if a different ladder showed up. Ha.\r
It has been impossible to get a new ladder or even get anyone to talk to us. Each person we tell our story to at Furniture Fair says ""let me see what I can do. I will call you back"". And we never hear from that person again. This has gone on since February 7th. Now - we are done. We will not buy from Furniture Fair again.

My husband and I have bought numerous furnishings from Furniture Fair (including a mattress and boxsprings) and have yet to be annoyed by sales people, disappointed in the products purchased or robbed blind by the prices. Thank you Furniture Fair! I am a customer for life!

I have read the reviews and must say that I have totally been satisfied with everything I have ever purchased from Furniture Fair. Not only do they truly care about our community; but they care about the customer. I have been treated with the utmost respect every time I have entered their stores.

Their selection is great and the prices are outstanding. They do a great job of explaining what you are buying and what warranties are available for the product.

We once purchased a couch as is and the salesperson was very helpful in explaining to us why it was that way and how much of discount we were receiving.

I always tell my friends about Furniture Fair and encourage them to check them out. We are customers for life.

After purchasing a king size mattress from Furniture Fair less than three years ago the mattress has sagged on either side creating large divots. We have contacted them and they say the mattress was purchased as is. When the bed was purchased, it included the box springs as well. The company delivered the incorrect box springs two times and consequently returned the third time with inexpensive low profile twin box springs that where not the original product from Serta. Due to the incorrect actions of there sales staff I believe that Furniture Fair is the reason for the damaged mattress. During our purchasing experience we were pushed towards the inexpensive, as is section as were some other customers that we have become aware of were directed as well.

We contacted Furniture Fair with no conclusion or solution and told to contact Serta directly. After contacting Serta, we were directed back to Furniture Fair with the information that the bed we purchased did have a 10-year warranty from Serta.

Serta places a ten-year warranty on their products and even though furniture fair says, the mattress is as is how can this product be as is if they purchased it from Serta.

Furniture Fair is misleading their customers to believe that this purchase does have a warranty until they are contacted with a problem. I would like to know how furniture fair possibly with a good conscience knowingly sells defective mattress??s and can still claim to be a good standing member of the community. I wonder if Mr. Hartman and Mr. Munoz know of these practices. After our experience, I would believe that there are probably many more complaints about Furniture Fair that are not heard because of the extensive runaround.

Furniture Fair is a good run-of-the mill furniture store. Sure, their commercials are slightly annoying, but they carry quality furniture at affordable prices. We bought one set of sofas from Furniture Fair, and although it took a while for them to come in, the price was reasonable and we are pleased with the product. Sometimes the sales people do get annoying with trying to upsell, but they at least don't follow you around like lost puppy dogs.

As far as furniture stores go Furniture Fair isn't that bad. They have a good selection of various types of furniture and such. The store is clean and organized and almost never too busy. The salespeople still follow you around and try to get you to put stain resistant treatments on all of your furniture, but they are not nearly as annoying as in other furniture stores. They often run good promotions so you can get furniture at a reasonable price.
