I loved it !!!!! The fried pickles were to die for!!! Everything is beyond good...A sure favorite!! I always make sure when I am in the area to stop for their famous Chicken Paprika and Stuffed Peppers. I live in Michigan, but make the trip to go there and am never disappointed. try it and I am sure you will agree!!!

Tony Packo's Express's food was average. Not a whole lot to choose from. They do offer different toppings for their hot dogs, like their pickles. Not much seating.

If you're going to go to Packos you have to make it to the original one on Consual street! If you're not a hot dog/sausage kind of person they have other things to choose from such as their chicken paprikash. MMMmmm..

Here is a blurb from their website:

Tony Packo was a factory worker. Then it all changed in 1932 with a man and his wife and a $100 loan from relatives, in the hardest of hard times, the first years of the Great Depression.

Tony Packo was a native East Toledoan, the son of Hungarian immigrants, born in 1908 a stone's throw from Consaul and Genesee streets, where he opened a sandwich and ice cream shop in 1932.

As you can see Tony was a native and it is still ran by the family to this day.

Also they have autographed hotdog buns by various celebrities. The newest one is from Donald Trump.

PROS: you get a lot of food for the price
CONS: parking!

This place is great. A must for visitors of toledo. I grew up going to Tony pacos, and we make it a few times a year for our girls to enjoy. The whole family loves the food, and the atmosphere is so friendly for kids. There is plenty to choose from on the menu, and the staff is quit friendly. The prices are great, so is the food

PROS: great food, family atmosphere
CONS: none

My family ate here on a trip about ten years ago. It was started by one of the actors from MASH. It is Hungarian food, mostly sausages, sauerkraut, pickles, etc. I remember the pickles because in the gift store they sold large jars of it. The food was great and the atmosphere was fun. At that time, there were photos all over the place of celebrities who had eaten there and given an autographed photo.

Packos has the best hungarian hot dogs in the world. They are so famous that a hometowner Jamie Farr mentioned it on the long running show Mash. The hot dogs are smothered in a meaty sauce or not . Soup is also available. There are three
