This business no longer exists went to pick apples and the signs are gone and the angry older woman that erinlynn10 spoke of in her review went to the great orchard in the sky...(we had the same experience with her)

My husband and I went here to go apple picking, expecting to have a great with our son who happens to be a dog. The cranky old man wouldn't let us bring him into the orchard with us, but his yuppie dog was running around the whole place! I could understand if our dog was troublesome, but he is a very well behaved dog and was ON A LEASH unlike his annoying barking dog. We turned around and left.

I went with my daughter on a field trip from her preschool to Buckingham Orchards. On first arrival it's very inviting. Beautiful house and old barn, with apples trees all around. The kids could absolutely not wait to pick apples! They did the tour with the preschool so the tour guide first gave them an explaination (with pics) on how apples grow. She then took us a few trees down into the orchard and allowed each of them to pick a few apples. She explained to them how to pick them and also gave quite a few more apple facts. They then moved along to see how the apples were sorted, stored, and ended in the store area. The store was very quaint and loaded with quite a few goods, and lots of apples, to buy. They were very reasonably priced and I can easily say I'd return. All in all this was a wonderful learning experience.
