Chelsea's Costumes

Cleveland is blessed by having so many different costume shops around town. You could spend all day looking and have a good time.

Chelsea's is across the street from The Cleveland Shop - which is another costume shop. Chelsea's is pretty neat. They have many rows of vintage clothing which my wife enjoys browsing.

This is a great place to go for those Halloween Party rounds. They have a great selection of formal wear, vintage clothing, funny wigs, and costume supplies. They do have the shop set up nicely having the clothing categorized by type, color and era.

You'll want to give yourself plenty of time at Chelsea's because with aisle after aisle after aisle CRAMMED with vintage skirts, sweaters, vests, pants, suits, coats, jackets, blouses, dresses, shorts, you NAME it, you'll NEED the time!
Chelsea's has an outstanding collection, & if you put the time in to pick through it you're sure to find a gem or two at a decent price! The one drawback is the big plus - the volume.
Sometimes it's a bit overwhelming, but if you have a free Saturday, get there early and shop til you drop!

CONS: overwhelming amount of stock

If you like to shop for vintage clothing and items, then you will like this shop. They have been around for a very long time at the same location. They carry some costumes as well. This shop is big and they carry a lot of different items for customers to browse through and look at. I think this is a great place to shop if you are going to a costume party or you need something maybe for a play or theatrical wear.
