For those looking in deep. I have been hired by Flexicom and have gone through their training. Also, I am hired at the moment by a newspaper. I must keep my name confidential because I trust no one. Yet, truth be told I have yet to be lied to or be told to lie. We sell below the retail price of Verizon. We promote within. I have come to believe that after the lawsuit is settled the overtime will make things right. I have yet to meet "Shawn" but I believe his business practice should be regulated by the government. So far, I have seen zero shady practices, but have seen several cases of underpaid employees.

The company is pathetic. I'm a current employee (unfortunately). I have to work somewhere because the economy is so horrible, but this company is terrible to its employees. They set unrealistic goals and expect you to work seven days a week, even though they say their last core value is 'family', which it obviously isn't. The owner, Shawn Cunix runs around playing poker, laughing at his brash personality, and doesn't care a bit about his employees.

Anyone working for Flexicom needs to be aware if they question anything they will be fired. Not only does Flexicom train their employees to lie they lie to their employees and management.

As a former employee, I was one of the top sales reps at Flexicom. I had to leave the company because Shawn Cunix was ripping off the customers and his own employees. He taught us how to lie to our customers, how to overcharge our customers.
Verizon Wireless is a good company, but Flexicom is giving Verizon the bad name.
Please goto the corporate store if you want to buy phones.
Stay away from Flexicom
They'll over charge you on phones and they'll sell you bad quality accessories.
If you do end up going to Flexicom, make sure you check with the corporate store first. Be wise!

I didn't know the difference between "authorized dealer and retailer...but learned the hard way! I "purchased" a new phone from the Polaris Mall location which is JUST an authorized dealer. The salesman assured me that I was getting "the very best price" on my phone. Imagine my surprise when I opened the newspaper the very next day and found out I could get this exact phone for FREE from Best Buy! I immediately went to return the phone and not only had to pay a $35 restocking fee but was told it would be another $35 to return the phone charger; which, by the way, only cost $22! The salesman then proceeded to charge my account again instead of crediting my account. This was finally corrected but not without "wasting a lot of my time and effort!" If you want to get the BEST deal and the BEST service....I highly recommend you go to Best Buy! I got my FREE phone from them and got GREAT service!

I was very pleased with my experience at the 23 store. I had a small child with me and there was no line for me to wait. There was also a fun wall mounted art like thing that entertained my child the entire time. Thanks for making my phone purchase so fast and easy

The first thing you need to know about a Verzion Retailer is that they are under the curtain and control of Verizon's rules and policies. As a former corporate store rep, WE charged LOTS of fees-they made us! Phone book fees, upgrade fees, there is now even a $20 fee just for you to return/exchange any equipment you buy! Each retailer is different and if they take advantage of pricing, that is wrong, but if you all knew the crap verizon leverages against these guys from the business end, you would understand why they sometimes MUST charge more. One thing from my years of experience from the management side and now owner side of a Retailer - Verizon screws YOU the customer and US the retailer! If you want stellar service and folks who will take the time with you - see a retailer. If you want to see a price and have a corporate sales rep sell you $70 worth of accessories that you had no idea you were purchasing - see corporate.

Look closely at the signage - they are an agent for Verizon Wireless: not Verizon Wireless itself. Phone pricing will not be listed "out in the open." This is on purpose so Flexicom (doing business as "Wireless") can charge you as much as possible. If you absolutely want/have to buy a phone from Flexicom, arrived armed with pricing from the Verizon Wireless web site: www.verizonwireless.com

Haggle, haggle, haggle! This will be a much different buying experience than you would get at a Verizon Wireless "corporate" store. Again - phone prices are not marked - so negotiate. Accessory prices are usually marked - but you can haggle on these as well!

Finally - they'll hit you with as many "fees" as possible - programming, phone number transfer (contact list from old phone to new). When you negotiate down to the final price - make sure you say "and no programming or phonebook swap fees"
