Busken Bakery

For the most part, I have been satisfied with the bakery and its items. I recently tried to place a simple cookie order and they would not accomodate my wishes. I feel this is poor customer service and I will no longer patron this establishment. Keep in mind, although you are placing an order, you are not guaranteed the item. I do not recommend this bakery for special order items.

the busken store in eastgate has a wonderful home cooking smell even thou i have asked do you cook here? the customer service you get there is super i dont think there is anything they want do for you, they go way out of their way to make it a pleasant time for the 5 minutes or so i am there. THE PUMPKIN DONUTS ARE OUT OF THIS WORLD IT WAS SUGGESTED BY ONE OF YOUR MORNING CLERKS [ TALL BLONDE] I WAS STUCK ON MY FRIED DANISH EVERY MORNING GAVE IT A TRY AND LOVED THEM. I WOULD RECOMMEND ANYONE GOING THRU EASTGATE STOP IN

I've had the pleasure to visit the Kenwood store every weekday morning and some weekends now going on 21 years. I am some what troubled in the fact that in the last year I have seen the quality of the Doughnuts decrease as the price inflate. Those nice big frosty glazed Doughnuts, now appear to be just wet nasty looking Donut sponges,, I switched over to the Chocolate frosted yeast Donuts, but they have become hastily glazed messes of gue !! In the past I ALWAYS regarded Busken Doughnuts as the best !! but I now fear that I can not claim this statement. I honestly think this morning was the last time in the Kenwood store,, I'm in search of another stop in the morning, It will be hard to change my habits after 21 years..Thanks for memories !!

This is the place in the Cincinnati area to get good donuts. I enjoy the plain ones, but the ones dipped in chocolate are pretty good also. They have tons of locations all over town and this happens to be their main bakery, which is good if you want the freshest product. I'm not sure how I feel about that fact that they bake everything here and then ship it off to their other locations. I think it may compromise freshness and quality. Parking in their lot can get tight even though it is in the suburbs.

I happen to live close to the Hyde Park Busken which is the distribution center and is open 24 hours. Everything there is always quite fresh. Busken is a full-service bakery with special desserts, wedding cakes, donuts, coffee, pastries. Their foods are quite tastey albeit a little pricey. They have adorable seasonal cookies (even for tax season!) which are OK...but somehow addictive.
