why did my review get erased. this forum blows and you can all suck me. just because my review was completly correct and some1 couldnt handle it. insider pages sucks as bad as randys tire. if you didnt want the truth you should have never made this site. randys tire is horrible and over priced. you all can get bent
I went to Randy's for an alignment and they told me I had a bad tire rod and that it would cost $500 to fix. I told them I didn't have the money and went to a new mechanic and told them what they had said and that I needed a quote. They said that the tire rods were fine and that I didn't need new ones! The kicker here is that my step mom also went there for an alignment (I hadn't talked to her about it because I didn't know she needed one and we talked about it after) and she payed the money to get it done, her car was pretty new. I started asking around and two friends of mine also went there and were told the same thing. They won't work on anything or do the alignment unless you fix that. I feel like they are seeking out people that do not know much about cars and telling them this stuff is bad or needs fixed to scam them out of more money. Even if you have to drive further, go somewhere else. It will be worth it to save your money making unnecessary repairs...
Customer service is not a prority here, they will over charge for the work they do. Had to buy a tire in a pinch, told them to give me a highmilage tire that I could get three more of in a few weeks. I go back and they sold the stupid things. Order more products. I should not have to wait for the tire store to order tires I already told them that I would buy. They told me 250$ to chg spark plugs. I took in the parts and they did it in 20 minutes. Then they still charged me for the entire 250$. What happened to hour labor rates. They told me that it is just a normal fee for plugs. The next time i changed the plugs and did in half an hour. Parts and all was around 45$ and I kept my 250$. Guess I need to buy a tire changer now and do my own tires. heck its 10$ to unmount and 10$ to mount plus 5$ for spin balance. So, an extra 25$ per tire. Business are killing us with fees. Pep boys has buy three tires get on free. I wish there was one here. If the tire would have not went flat I would have just drove over there and saved some of my hard earned money. I will get these tires and be done with this business all together. I will go some where else in town next time and have them put on a junk tire and drive to pep boys. Should have learned my lesson years ago...
This is in response of Teresa T's post. Miss, I don't think you understand how cars work. The shaking can be caused by many things. In the automotive repair business, they try to rule out cheaper problems; such as, bad tires, out of rotation and miss-rotations. Then, if the problem persists, they begin look into other problems. Whatever was wrong with your car, the shaking wouldn't have stopped from just changing the tires again. In my opinion, Randy's Tire is a well-run business. The service is always timely and the staff is friendly. I would recommend Randy's to anyone who wants quality service. I have been to other automotive repairs in Bucyrus, and eventhough their prices were sightly cheaper, the cost at Randy's count.

I used Randy's auto repair when my car broke down and I needed it towed for repair. I chose Randy's based upon a recommendation from a friend. Overall, my experience was positive. They provided timely repairs and quality work. In my opinion, the price was a little bit high. If I need another repair, I will get a quote from Randy's but I will also shop around
PROS: good, timely service
CONS: can get expensive

Bought tires off of them because I had mine were well worn. When I picked up my van, my van shook terrible. I took it back, they blamed it on a bad tire, changed one, it was close to closing, they put it on and sent me on my way. Going down the road it was still shaking. Took it back the next morning, they claimed out of balance, balanced all again. Much better. The next day, I went to Mansfield, it shook awful at 55. Took it back when I got home. Again bad tire, replace one. Couldn't get shake out. Had me bring it back and leave it next morning. Still could not get shake out completely, must have drive shaft going out of my van. Did not have any of problems with my van before. Would not work on it anymore unless I paid them $600 to change drive shaft. No way, went somewhere else and bought new tires a month later and drove just fine. Will not go back.
