DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!!!! They forgot to put the oil cap back on. My car splashed oil all over the engine. Ruined my serpentine belt, my car was smoking and nearly caught fire. The repairs from the damage they caused cost me over $300.00. The manager refused to refund the money after said repairs had been done due to their mistake . He even brought up the video footage of when they put oil in my car and it clearly shows the technician leaving the oil cap on my battery. the manager still lied to me and my wife's face and said it didn't happen. The indent is still on my battery from where he left cap a week ago. .Do not go here. Shady people that will lie to your face. I am so upset.. a $40 oil change cost me $300 in repairs.. ... Never again.... Go at your own risk..

As a past employee I'm going let you in on some secrets from this place. I worked at this place for 4 years. I managed several stores for them and know the in's and outs. First off there brand of oil and products are poor. There EcoGuard IS RECYCLED OIL!!!They will tell you that it is Refined. Not true. Second, They buy the cheapest oil they can find in bulk. They don't care what it is. Don't take my word. Call and ask what brand of oil they use for there basic oil change.THey use Mobil 1 for synthtic but just cause they have to. The placeis the most costly oil change around but use crap for products. Also these guys they hire have no expereince at all. THey will hire anyone for the cheapest they can. THere training is a 2 week joke. This would explain them blowing up engines on a monthly basis. And god help u if u have a claim, since they tell you to denie denie denie as an employee.Thats how they get out of most there claims because if you take it to someone else if something goes wrong before them they then say they were not the last ones to touch it.Now there no longer responsable for it. If you do decided to go to Lube Stop, good luck you wil need it. Quick,Confident, and Complete is there logo.More like Lie,Rob them blind, and hope we don't blow something up!!!!!!

I went to Lube Stop on Vine St. In Eastlake, Ohio. I have been going to this place for years and they are very pushy, but I just tell them what I want and leave it at that, but a couple of weeks ago I had my oil changed and 2 days later I was driving down the freeway and heard a loud pop noise and looked behind me to see smoke pouring from my car, I pulled over, along with about 9 other people who almost wrecked because oil went all over their windshields. Thinking my car had blown the motor I called and had my car towed to my repair shop which cost me $130 only to find out that when I dropped $60 at Lube stop the other day, they had not put the oil filter on correctly and caused all of this mess. So I had to pay another $63 to have my car fixed. Not to mention I missed $200 from work. I returned to show the prove of what happened and was told I could only be reimbursed for my tow and my $63 I paid to have it repaired. I should have been paid for my missed work, not happy at all, and oh yeah I was suppose to get 10 free oil changes and I got 1 not that I would ever take my car back there again, but Mr. Lube stop hurt himself because not one person I know will ever take their car back to Lube Stop, How can you be an oil changing place and you can not even get that right?

I worked there for 5 years and was constantly threatened of my job and whatnot for ill sales even though it wasn't part of my job description. They also had issues promoting from within and I had all the skill and experience to manage a stop and I understood that when people say no it means NO. I'm a broke frig myself and probably would say no too! Valvoline is the way to go. Better company, better products, period. Prices may still be a bit steep but you'll get what you pay for. And never understaffed.

After reading the negative reviews, I decided to post my own review posted up with the knowledge I got from here.

First I came in with cash in hand, I selected the oil change and told the man "I only have $50 dollars", this squashed any upgrades he had to tell me about, even though he was required to ask me.

The service was fast, the people friendly, and the total with the $5 off coupon from the website was less then $35 with everything.

I went to the location in cleveland on west 150th.

I have noticed with the cons that people say that the store are pushy. I thought I would let you know the managers are forced to make sales. If not they have to work an extra day with no pay and are alway threatened with their jobs.

I waited for almost one hour for a simple oil change at the Lube Stop location on Broak park close to Ridge rd. Jeff was apologetic however it was still and hour an 20 minutes from the time I pulled in till the time I pulled out and that is way too long for an oil change. It was way more expensive than the local auto garages in the area. If you are going to charge that much, I expect to be in and out. There were only 3 men working. That is totally understaffed. I wont return. Its just not worth it. Too many other places to go for an oil change for a lot less and in a shorter amount of time. The manager should have warned me.

I stopped for an oil change and like the others there was a relentless sales pitch. More important though, I was told that my windshield washer fluid was topped off and it was in fact left empty, so what else was I lied to about? I was asked over and over about a radiator flush. I declined. Two weeks later my car overheated and had no fluid. I had radiator replaced. I am suspicuois about the circumstances. Last, they sell the air filters for $19 and they can be bought at a parts store for $8. Bad Business. A liar is a liar no matter how you cut it!

I agree with the last reviewer. When I took my car to a Lube Stop, the technicians also tried to push other parts on me. I felt pressured and uncomfortable. However, they are quite pricey.

PROS: no appointment needed
CONS: pushy and pricey

I received an oil change, was showed all the parts they replaced, but felt overwhelmed by all the extra things they tried to sell me. I understand they need to do it, but no thank you means stop.

PROS: Quick service, not overpriced
CONS: To pushy with the extras.
