I had been sitting and writing for days and days, finally I could not take it anymore. My back had seized up and I could not work. I searched for a place close to campus and called to see if I could get in immediately or the next day. They close at 6:00 and Jennifer called me at 4:57 and said she could take me! I rushed down there and it was wonderful! I instantly could feel the pain subside. She treated me based on my very specific needs and provided me with the relief so I could go back to work! Brilliant! I will definitely be visiting there again! Probably soon!

Body Wisdom is a great local business. Their massage seems more "healing" than others I've received. I went in because of low back pain and felt almost immediate results. The staff is obviously very experienced. The rooms are comfortable. Pricing is very economical. Would recommend them to everyone!

First time there, Lark worked on me. Very refreshing, peaceful, and relaxing. I was really made to feel comfortable and relaxed. The knots in my back and legs are much better. Lark applied just the right amount of pressure, very deep, but not overdone. Really feeling better. Thanks!

I recently had a massage at Body Wisdom Healing Group. It was my first time at this establishment. It was a very peaceful relaxing atmosphere and the customer service was excellent. Due to the small environment, the atmosphere is very personal and you receive one on one attention. The massage therapist, Jennifer, was very explanatory of the services provided at Body Wisdom Healing Group and she took the time to answer all of my questions. The message was awesome and I am definitely going to patronize Body Wisdom Healing Group on a regular basis. I am also going to refer this establishment to all of my friends. Kudos!!!

As a massage therapist, I know what I need worked on. As someone on the table, I also know that a massage therapist can offer insight into what is going on with my body. I came into my session with Lark with specific areas to target. She listened, asked questions, and began to work. I needed therapeutic, targeted work and that is what she provided. I am looking forward to more sessions with Lark.
Making an appointment was easy. It always helps to leave a message with days/times you are available in case you do end up in a phone tag situation.
The location is perfect for me, living in the north Clintonville area, plus there is nearby street parking. In addtion, the office is spacious and inviting. It's a very relaxed atmosphere.

I first began to see Lark immediately after major invasive surgery on my shoulder. Lark became part of my weekly therapy regiment and in my opinion is the main reason my full recovery was achieved 8 weeks ahead of projections from my doctor. I have better range of motion now because of Lark?s loving hands and healing touch than anyone expected.
Lark is a Goddess. Her spirit is connected to a higher power that allows her to channel her healing energy and pinpoint what ails you without the need for you to verbalize. I've experienced her ability firsthand as she is guided to areas that cry for her magical touch; I?ve witnessed Lark?s intuitiveness ?listen? to my body and react accordingly. It is truly amazing.
Lark?s knowledge of the human body (inside and out) is impeccable and allows her to work deep and accurately to not only alleviate the surface aches and pains; but, to be able to delve into the root of the problem to eradicate it.

I have been a customer here for years--men and women alike will find this great experience and will cure your aches and pains. Every massage I have had here has made me feel like a million bucks!! The staff knows their stuff and the atmosphere is therapeutic--the staff has a wealth of experience and are truely interested in making you feel your best.
Pros: Tranquil, never stuffy--comfortable but professional.
Cons: You have to leave a message and can play phone tag to make an appointment--but the do respond timely.

I received a gift certificate from my wife for a one hour massage. That was over four years ago and I have been a client since that first visit. The ownership makes you feel welcome and at ease. I believe in the power of massage; I have had problems with circulation in my legs and I have had veins stripped. If I follow a regular schedule about every six weeks I have not had any pain in my legs that I experienced without the massage therapy. It does not stop there it makes you feel better all over. When you have the opportunity try the Craniosacral Massage it is the most stress relieving and relaxing massage I have experienced.

All of the massage therapists at Body Wisdom excel in massages that are custom tailored to you. Tell them what is bothering you and they will suggest a massage style. Need a precise issue worked on ? No Problem. Need to come in 1x a day for a week? No problem..... Need to drop in only once in a while? No problem either! Great service, very fair price and I promise you WILL leave feeling better!
Pros: You can get an appointment with a highly trained therapist almost any time
Cons: If you really love a particular therapist, you may have to wait for an appt, but it will be worth it!

I've been seeing Lark for...4 years? A long time, first for chair massage in a business setting, then I started coming to Body Wisdom, usually twice a month. Massage therapy with Lark has really helped me both with overall well-being and with specific aches & pains. She is a very caring, cheerful person and it's always a pleasure to visit her at her quiet location.
Pros: Skilled therapy, flexible scheduling, quiet, low-key ambience, easy parking, good value
Cons: none that I can think of!

Lark comes to my office and has a station set up where she does chair massages once a week. Many of us have desk jobs and having the opportunity to have a chair massage really aleviates the aches and pains that are created with sitting all day. I have also visited Body Wisdom and having the full-body massage is wonderful! Body Wisdom offers many services and I can't wait to try them all!
I leave feeling relaxed and centered. It's wonderful having time for myself. I can't wait for my next relaxing appointment!
Pros: Flexible scheduling, convient parking, and close to the interstate.

I had been receiving treatment for back pain at home in Pittsburgh. I found Body Wisdom while walking in the Clintonville area and was able to schedule an appointment on fairly short notice during my stay.
After explaining my symptoms to Lark, she varied her massage technique to stretch and sooth my sore back and tender spots. I was so pleased with the results that I purchased a gift certificate for my pregnant daughter. We both were extremely happy with the massage and the calm atmosphere of the surroundings.
I plan to call again the next time I visit Columbus.
Pros: Not a big, resort spa atmosphere; more casual; expert massage therapist who enjoys her work.
Cons: Can't think of any.

From the time you enter the unassuming storefront to the time you leave, you will feel soothed, supported, and relaxed. The staff is professional and genuinely personally interested in your experience. And with a wide range of known techniques, you are sure to find what you need, whether it is therapeutic treatment, stress relief, or simple relaxation. The location on Indianola near Studio 35 makes it easy to find and get to. The pricing is also reasonable, which just adds to the experience. I've never had regular massage before visting Body Wisdom, but I'm now hooked. Thanks, Lark!

In the last six months, I have had a number of massages at Body Wisdom by 2 different therapists. They were both excellent. I especially enjoy the Hot Stones.
