I bought my laptop from Best Buy a few years ago and got their 2yr protection plan with it. About a year after I bought it, the screen started to flicker and turn yellow when I adjusted it. Of course, I took it in to the geek squad. I left it there for them to repair. A few weeks later, I picked it up and they had replaced the LCD screen. As soon as I got home and opened my laptop up, I saw that the problem was still present; they hadn't fixed it. I waited another 5mon to let the problem get worse and took it back. After 3 weeks, they called me and told me it was done. When I went to pick it up, I asked what they had done. Nothing. They held my PC for three weeks and did NOTHING!! In order to get my pc back, I needed to sign a document stating that I was satisfied with their work. I refused to sign it, obviously. But then they refused to bring my laptop to me. Since I needed my laptop for an upcoming online class, I signed the paper to get it back. I probably should've called the police. When I told my father and brother about it, they both immediately knew it was the cable connecting the screen to the motherboard. I purchased a cable on eBay and replaced the part. That fixed the problem instantly. The geeks at geek squad obviously have little experienced and knowledge. Take your business somewhere else.

At one point or another we all need computer repair help and I am no different. I found myself in need at the worst possible moment. In the middle night, when everything is closed and the night before a report is due. I called Geek Squad online support for help and was charged for the $199 virus removal service. They connected to my pc and attempted to remove the problem. After a couple of hours and a whole lot of coffee and nail biting they call me back and say there is nothing they can do. This time, the guy I spoke to had a heavy accent and seemed to be calling from overseas. And long with this and the fact they said the virus is too embedded to be removed without causing further damage and system instability. I get off the disappointing phone call and am still sweating because this report is 35% of my overall grade in this course and I absolutely had to have this done in the morning. I run a quick Google search for a solution when I find SecureRemoteSupport[dot]com who provides online services and have a No Fix No Pay guarantee. Wow that would be nice if Geek Squad offered the same promise. Within an hour they had diagnosed the virus and had removed it completely for $105. And best of all, I didnt lose any of my work and my operating system was completely repaired. Apparently the Geek Squad isnt as good at their job as secureremotesupport[dot]com is. I really appreciate their diligence on fixing my issue and suggest others think twice before contacting Geek Squad to fix their computer.

A few months later we took it to geek squad cuz it crashed they said it was missing os (operating systems...it was missing WINDOWS?!) they made us purchase more disks and when we came to pick it up it was filthy and missing the same disks. They acted like we were hiding them and did not want to give it back to us. Then they started helping other customers. Finally a young girl came over after 20 mins of waiting and told us we would get a new set of disks for free. They asked us for some paper work they needed and they kept grabbing all of our papers and throwing them around and then i asked what they had in their hand and they had our original receipt! This store is horrible dont shop with them and dont deal with geek squad...cuz they know nothing about computer they are just geeks!!

I have gone to best buy on several occations to get electronics. There are computers, televisions, radios, etc. The electronic lover would enjoy this store, The staff is friendly and helpful and they show you how to us these products. I would recommend this store to anyone

I love coming to best buy. Most of the time i'm able to find the cd i want at a wonderful price. There is always some one around to help out. I've never been dissappointed coming here.

I have shopped at this Best Buy many times. The customer service is great. I had to return something I bought here once and the sales associate was very nice about it. My son likes to come here and look at the DVD's and I like to come here to check out their CD's. They have a nice selection of computers and computer equipment. Many times they have sales going on. The prices here are pretty good.

This store has any appliance you can think of. Besides that they have CDs, video and anything you might need for your computer. You can purchase most things for 90 days same as cash - which is great when you are on a tight budget.
