This bowling alley has everything you need for a fun game with your friends: cold beer, gooey nachoes, cheesy pizza, shoes for rental, bowling balls of different colors and weights, digital scoreboards, and pretty good priced games. It can get crowded on Friday and Saturday nights and there might be a line or a wait period, but you can always enjoy the food and music and mingle with your friends. This is my top pick for bowling lanes.

I had my son's birthday party here. It was pizza, pop and pins. All the guest had a great time bowling! My son was so happy that he picked this place to have his party! The price was good and the pizza was good & the kids had a blast - what more could you ask for?? :)

Go to Rainbow Lanes in Warren, Oh, which has the same ownership as the palace. Up until three years ago, most people thought it was a toxic waste dump. if you got there at the beginning or before bowling, kids were putting buckets in the ceiling all over the place because of a leaky roof, and the scorers miscore. Theres more oil on the french fries then the lanes.

They got the parking lot and the roof fixed, but then they got rid of all of the "good", yet "overpaid," management and replaced them with clueless "kids."

The bowlers aren't coming back after this season.

is there a manager there?

And too top things off, they said the reason the bowling alley is losing business, is because bowling is a dying breed. Um... Yeah, I guess their right on that one.

Pros: fran hawkins, good kids league, cost friendly

Cons: lanes run like crap, balls get stuck, NO FUN!

I was very disapoined in the "best bowling alley in cleveland" for 2 reasons: if you come in a group you have to pay all together or have 1 person pay on a credit card and have people pay him or her back. This was very inconvenant for a totaly of $91 for a party of 10! I mean, who carries cash anymore? You NEED to be able to let people pay seperately by credit card. I also found that the workers were VERY rude in general and not helpful at all. Our lane ended up having some trouble also so I concluded that as much fun as I had with my friends it would have been alot better to have gone to another bowling alley.

I was at the palace recently for a youth bowling tournament...The place was pricy, and in my opinion is not worth the money. New tables/scorers can only go so far. The lanes were in dire need of resurfacing and the carpet looked like it hasnt been swept in years. The lane conditions werent bad...except that since the lanes need resurfaced, the heads would become terrible quickly.
