I moved to the Vineyards this year and I love it!!

This has been my first experience living in Cleveland/Broadview Heights so I was quite nervous moving in, but the ladies in the Office made my move so easy. Everything was ready for me

Having lived in several different apartment complexes in the NorthRoyalton-Broadview Heights area, I can say with certainty that the Vineyards has the best deal. My only concern was uncovered parking which isn't so pleasant in the winter. However, the staff is superd. the units are clean and most importantly, i haven't experienced a single problem with heat/ac, no pests, no leaks, which from my previous experiences is the most important thing to me when looking for an apartment.

I have been living in this apartment complex for over a year now...Thank god my lease is up next month!!! When I first came here it seemed very nice. The office staff was very sure to tell me that the utility bills are low, crime was low, and the place was overall nice.

12 months later....

Utility bills - First of all, NONE of them are included in the rent. NONE!! The water and sewage bill are included in one bill. That bill has never been under 50 bucks a month...mind you, I live in a ONE bedroom with a SMALL hot water tank. I cannot take a shower longer than 5 minutes because the water goes cold. Not to mention that I have found out that the water bill is done by satellite to a company in California. The water is NEVER an actual reading, it is basically an estimate every month. ((On the bill itself, it even has a California address)) I found this out from a person that use to work in the office. Again, I live in a one bedroom apartment and my electric bills during even the slightest hot month are always over 150 dollars. After telling the apartment complex about the bills, they insisted that they couldn??t do anything about it. The electric company of course won??t do anything?so I am stuck with a high electric bill along with HIGH rent. It is now January and have noticed that the windows are leaking water and cold air in all the time?especially in the bedroom. I have put in a maintenance call and they supposedly came out to reseal it. ((It DIDN??T work)) Now I know part of the reason why my bills are so high.

Parking - The parking here is absolutely terrible. I live in building 300 and have to park in front of building 600. For those of you who don??t know?that is a very far walk. I am paying over 700 dollars a month and don??t think that parking that far away is feasible. The parking lots are small and overcrowded. The office doesn??t stop visitors from parking in the spots that residents PAY for overnight. MANY people have complained about the parking and the office simply says that they can??t do anything about it. They think that building garages in the BACK of the apartment complex will solve this problem. NOO WAYY!

When I moved into my apartment the carpet was in terrible condition. There were stains, holes and dirt on it. Now my carpet is starting to bubble up and have they come out to fix it after I told them about it?? NOO! The walls in this place are paper thin. You can hear what people are doing all around you. The people in this apartment complex are RUDE. They will watch you struggle with bags in your hands while you are trying to unlock the door?instead of opening the door for you. There are many residents from India and to be honest the smell of their food smells up the entire building. At times it has even come into my apartment.

Not to mention pets are permitted in this apartment complex. I have complained time after time about dogs barking all day, every day. After 3 complaints, the residents are supposed to get rid of the animals if they can??t stop the barking?needless to say, they still have their animals and they bark anytime from 6am to 11pm.

The maintenance at this place is a joke. I simply needed the metal part of a light bulb removed from where it screws into. The guy spent 2 hours trying to do so. He busted 3 bulbs and shocked himself 2 times. They are not very smart at all.

Not to mention that if it snows while you live here?plan on calling off from work because the snow plow people don??t know how to plow. They will seriously plow you in so you are unable to get out.

The people in the office are very two faced. They act very nice to your face but will talk about you behind your back. It seems like it??s back to high school in this apartment complex.

All I can say is be careful if you move here. The place looks very nice but is not so great inside. There are places all around that are CHEAPER and have way better people to work with.

This is a horrible place to live. The maitenance people here suck and do not know how to do their job at all!! First of all when I first moved in, I had a first floor sub level apartment. Well the place flooded once and they said they fixed it. Not to mention in the process, they damaged the hell out of my $2000 furniture I had just bought and the one piece was $200 to replace and they would only give me $75!!! Well then it flooded again so I had to move to another unit up. OK well, after all that happened, winter came. If you plan on actually going to work to pay your rent, do not move here! I've had to call of 2 times already because I was stuck in the snow!!! The maitenance people plow but they plow your car in so you can't get out!!! Not to mention they barely touch the sidewalks! The Vineyards was my first apartment to live in and as soon as my lease is up, I'm out of here! This place is horrible!!!

Suites are nice but the management is horrible. They don't care about their residents, they just keep telling them "that's what you get for living in an apartment" whenever you have a complaint. Snow removal is a JOKE and largely nonexistant. Don't move here. EVER.

Completely awful. Office staff is rude and callous, doesn't care about residents. Snow is left in the parking lot to block residents in should they be unlucky enough to still be there when the plows FINALLY come. If you're gone by the time they come, great, but you'll still have to drive over a pile of snow to get to the parking spot you vacated that morning.
