Not unusual to find folks from way on the other side of town in the waiting room. Have been a customer for 20 years myself.
Always top-notch & inexpensively priced.
That being said, be aware they do not post hours of operation anywhere (phone book, etc ...) except on the side of the building. I tried to call before going in case hours had changed for some reason ... they don't own an answering machine, either.
So I went at a reasonable hour this week - only to discover they were on vacation! So, I got to drive my loud pipe past the nearby police station TWICE.
For those interested, here are the general hours:
CLOSED Saturday & Sunday.
OPEN M-F at 9 AM (Line at door starts forming around 8:30)
Close times vary between 6 and 7 PM depending on day of the week.
What a great place! Got there at 4:00, drove away at 4:45. 95 Mustang, and, while I was enjoying the powerful throaty new sound when my tailpipe separated from the muffler, I was rapidly running out of bungee cords to keep it up....so had it repaired. $139 for pipe, muffler and tailpipe...can't beat it! and friendly! What a great place.
I took my 94 civic to Munro muffler (@ Kamms corner) an
they told me it needed the pipe from the catalytic converter
back, and quoted me $390.00 + tax. I said no thanks I think
I'll get a second opinion. Went to All star, they did it for $89.95 in less than 90 minutes. Nobody beats these guys!

I had a Mazda 929 and the catalytic converters needed to be replaced. The dealership and another shop wanted $3500 to 4,000. A friend recommended I go to this shop, I left the vehicle and out the door it was $200. Car ran great and I trusted them all the way.

I own a MINT 1989 Buick Reatta. It was in need of a muffler and tailpipes (2 pipes). I went to several National Chain Muffler shops for estimates which ranged from $295 - $360. I was told that it was a special muffler and pipes. However, being a car nut and being around cars for over 40 years, there was no way that a muffler and two 4 foot long tailpies was going to cost over $300! I was told to go see the FRIENDLY people at Allstar Discount muffler... and am I glad I did! I am VERY PICKY about how things are done, and I was TOTALLY IMPRESSED at the work and price that I was charged. My bill was less than $95! THANK YOU ALLSTAR ! Bob from Arch Abraham Nissan/Suzuki
Lowest prices&honest,no pressure at all, they tell not to do things and why. Their mufflers have a lifetime guarantee, pipes&hardware 2years& catalytic converters are 5years.They replaced their muffler and I requested a new flex pipe my total was $89.95 plus tax. They also show you what is wrong so you can see for yourself.Only thing drop your car off if possible, mostly it's us guys that wait,I waited for 4hrs+.No appointment 1st come 1st served. This is review is for W.130th. only they are not affiliated with any other shops called Allstar.
I work at a delivery company with alot of Independent Contractors. When I needed a muffler many of the drivers recommended this place. Got there early on a weekday and they called me a little bit later letting me know I also needed a pipe that goes into the converter but they would weld one in for cheap. Got car done quick with a lifetime guarantee. Will go back whenever I need work!
