Loved the selection of trucks the dealership had. Sales guy very knowledgeable and let me look around with no pressure but answered all my questions (went at beginning of month). Still in the market, but will definitely go back until I find exactly what I am looking for and am ready to buy.

Typical used car lot. Good selection. As is normal with used cars- stay away during the special sales events. Out of area high pressure salesmen are brought in to move as much as possible during the event. I think that is the reason for the bad reviews here. I never met a member of their staff that was considered pushy. I have bought one car there and will never go back after having to deal with their service department. Sales staff is ok. Just stay away from the service department. The service manager knows nothing about cars. 3 tries and he could not fix a minor problem. The warranty they give with a car purchase is useless. I had to fix the problem myself. They lost a customer over a 5 minute $5 repair.

PUSHY SALES STAFF!!! They won't even let you look at a car until they have your social security number and run your credit. This was the biggest rip off dealership that I have ever been to. They sent out flyers and could not follow up with the fine print that they themselves wrote becuase they knew that if they followed up with the deal they were offering to me, they would loose money, so they came up with every excuse in the book not to take my trade in. I will never buy from them and i will tell everyone I know NOT TO BUY FROM ALAN BESCO USED CARS!!!

Alan Besco has a HUGE selection of used cars. They have two lots full of cars and trucks that are all newer models and in great condition. My husband has bought from them twice and has been pleased with the vehicle purchases. The only down side is there customer service can be slow. When applying for financing it seems to take forever for them to get back to you. Every place else he has bought from they have an approval within no time.

We were pleasantly surprised with this used car lot. In fact we ended up purchasing there. We never felt any pressure to buy. Also, we were given the freedom to browse without being shadowed by a salesman. That is a big plus in my book. Nothing is more annoying than not being allowed to look on your own. We would definitely go back there for their friendly service.

I bought a car there that came with a 90 day warranty. Within 2 days the check engine light came on so I took it back. The service tech claimed I did not install the fuel cap properly. A few days later the light came on again. In all this car went back for the same problem 4 times in 90 days. Finally the service manager told me that the emissions system was not covered by my 90 day full warranty. I took the car to another shop and they found and fixed the problem within 10 minutes. It cost me $10. Don't expect them to provide repair service under their warranty.

As a single mother of two I was very nervous about buying a car on my own. I went into Alan Besco and was treated with the upmost respect and was shown many cars in my price range. My saleslady was very nice and helpful. I would recommend my friends and family to this dealership. I left there with a 2009 Kia and I LOVE IT!!!

Found a 2006 Denali on their web page...they had it listed for 28,500. Visited their lot...salesperson steps out and says ""that's a sweet truck...price is about 30,000. Anyway, I looked it over. Had loose belts, front tires will need replacing soon. Took it for a test ride, front brakes are a bit worn, but overall the truck is loaded and pretty nice. High miles though. So after returning back to the lot, they tell me they want to give me a killer deal...28 something. Kept trying to hide from overall selling price...their focus was on my monthly payment. And the salesman who obviously has no selling or banking experience, was telling me that he could get me a loan for 6.49 percent. At that point I specically ask for the NADA value ont the car and the salesman says--""oh easily 32 or 33 thousand"". I tell them I can get my own financing at a much lower rate (which the salesman disagrees for some odd reason). I go home, run KBB, NADA prices ont the truck--prices range from 26,500 to topping out at 27,725. So some killer deal...\r

what they did absolutely wrong--completely misunderstood my competence as a buyer...misquoted their vehicle multiple times, tried to immediately get me into the vehicle with a poor percentage rate (I can get 4.9 percent), and basically tried to trick me with catch phrases like ""killer deal"". \r

Sad note...I once bought a vehicle from them. They did better last time. What is sad is that being a return customer meant nothing to them. \r

In closing...do your homework when visiting this dealership--they have decent cars on the lot, but know the real book value of what you are buying and what you are trading in. Ask to see specific documentation from them...salesmen misquoting prices to lure you into a buy is unacceptable.

They had the sales contract written up as a plus tax price, I informed them that this was incorrect as the agreed upon deal was OTD. They checked with the sales manager and he verified that was in fact the case. New papers were printed and SIGNED with the correct OTD price. After running to the bank to bring back cash to finish the deal, I was told that the owner would not agree to the deal and wnted me to pay Tax, Title License and Doc Fees. I don't know how you can waste 2.5 hours of someones time putting the deal together and signing the purchase contract only to welch on a deal at the last minute. Be careful with these guys, don't assume that they will honor anything they tell you, even in writing. Poorly run business with poor service.

My wife and I are from Xenia. We recently purchased a Dodge Durango from Alan Besco. I have to say that we shopped around, being first time buyers. Not only did we get the best price in the area, but it was like brand new, and had the manufacture waranty with it. We were treated with much respect. My wife and I shopped other places, and we felt that since we were younger other sales people did'nt want to spend any time with us. At alan Besco, they not only took their time with us, they even let us drive the vehicle home over night to make sure that was the one for us. I have sent many of my friends from my church to them. Several of them also bought cars from them, and were very satisfied. The staff at Alan Besco were very pleasant, and kind to us. We will be back in the future for are car needs.

The first car I bought was an out and out lemon and broke down 2 months after I bought it and when they wouldn't fix the problem to my satisfaction I let the bank repo it with my blessing. However the car that I currently drive is from Alan Besco and it is a great car! but I didn't let them push me around on the price and I had it inspected before I bought it, My husband also has a car from there that is a nice car, but don't let them push u around. My sister and I bought her a mini van from Besco last summer and we finagled a great deal on it also, and paid cash for it. Thats the best way to go with This company, Just push back and if they push to hard walk away they will come after u because they need to make the deal or no commition for them. Don't let them push u around and u can get a good deal, but take the car and have it looked at thouroughley before u buy!!!!!!!! They do sell some peices of dreg\r

They offered me several different deals but when I wasn't happy with the first bad one, they just kept offering me worse deals with different excuses for why they couldn't follow through with their deal they had printed on the flyer. They tried to give me $5,500 for a vehicle that had a NADA TRADE IN value of $8500!!! They told me they didn't want my trade in becuase it was bad on gas, and they would not make very much money if they sold it on the lot. I would never buy a car there even if it was the deal of the century. After going to Alan Besco Used Car Lot, I have lost my faith in all used car lots, and I don't think I ever want to purchase a used car from a dealership again.
