.

I had an horizontally impacted wisdom tooth and I needed it taken out as soon as possible. My regular dentist did not preform this task so her referred me to one of his associates. The dentist he referred me to was booked for the next month so I started shopping around and stumbled upon this office. I went in and during the exam they discovered I had an abcess on the tooth. The dentist prescribed me an antibotic and as I was leaving had me schedule a date to have the tooth removed. When at the receptionist's desk she told me that there had been a cancelation and that they could get me in later that afternoon. I wasn't sure about it but the dentist said everything would be fine. I came in later that afternoon and the procedure was done. During the procedure the dentist started before the numbing agent started to work (ouch) and he was really struggling to get the tooth out. When I told him I could still feel it he asked me if I was sure!! After the procedure the pain got really bad and when I went in again they discovered that the infection had gotten really bad and along with giving me another prescription for antibiotics they also had me come back every other day (for about a week or so) to pack the socket. After the swelling went down I discovered that the dentist had also broken a part of a tooth in his struggle to get out the impacted wisdom tooth (my regular dentist confirmed this) I was also informed (by my regular dentist) that it is extremely dangerous to pull infected/abcessed teeth as well (something I did not know). I had asked friends at work about this dentist and hadn't heard anything bad about him prior to going there, but after that whole ordeal I swear I will never go to this dentist again and alot of my friends agree!
