Ferrarro's Familt is the best. My friends and I eat at Ferrarro;s several times a week, and I must say, the service is great and the food is wonderful. The waitresses are always kind, and repectful to all patrons. Thanks Lori, Betty and all the staff for your hard work. The bakery is phenominal stop by and see for yourselves.

Great food, great prices, been going there for 15 years and NEVER had a problem like John (comment below) suggests, lol.

Everyone who has been to Ferraro's as loyal customers over the years KNOWS John is probably leaving out an important fact that he most likely got so irate over the busboy mix up that he made a scene.
We ALL know the owner and he is definitely NOT like what John says. LoL - You would have to be a major ass**** making a scene in the restaurant in front of your kid in order to have him threaten you like that.
Notice that little part is missing in his story?
The owner of ANYTHING would not threaten cops on you if you simply asked for a receipt. That just doesn't make ANY sense whatsoever.

I also happen to know that many of the cops are in there as customers themselves ALL the time - LoL.
John(comment below) - spare us - you're an idiot. We didn't all fall off of a turnip truck yesterday.

Ferraro's is a great family restaurant, pretty reliable to me over the years for their bakery and the convenience of their hours (24 hrs a day including holidays) and damn good prices for the kind of and amount of food you get.
Get over yourself John. LoL - You made a scene, you were threatened with authority due to your OWN actions - clearly, and you were embarrassed in front of your child because of it.
I say you're story is not all completely there and you need to own up to your own ridiculous actions that evening. :).

Two thumbs up for Ferraro's!

Most bizarre and humiliating dining experience of my life. I am a single Father and we eat out most meals. On our visit to Ferraro's the food was served promptly and the check was left nearly immediately after service. My 5 year old needed the restroom, so I paid the bill while I was up. We had barely touched our dinner, but came back to find it gone. The busboy apologized and said no problem, he'd get another meal for us. The owner came over to announce he would not replace the food. I requested a receipt for what we had paid and he became very violent. `Your son will see you hauled away if you don't get the hell out of here!` I was in shock and when I saw the terror in my little boy's face I felt it was best to just leave quietly. We have tried to forget this experience, but it still weighs on us. I am certain we can't be the only customers to feel the wrath of this terrible man. Everything I have said here is absolutely true. When you think of Ferraro's, please remember my sweet little boy and choose to patronize one of the other fine family restaurants in the area.

UPDATE: Another reviewer stated that our experience "doesn't make any sense whatsoever." That is why I said it was bizarre. I was far from being an "as*****." In fact, I regret how timid I was. I only asked if we couldn't have the food could we please have a receipt for the food we paid for. There was no argument, just a one sided attack on us. When he decided to include my little boy in his tirade I left quietly without wanting to make a scene or further aggravate the situation. If I left out any details, it was more of his rantings (get the he** out, your kid would be happier at McDonald's anyway, etc.). I wish there WAS a cop in the restaurant to diffuse the situation, but the restaurant was nearly empty at the time. Did I do the right thing? Maybe not. Perhaps the owner would have calmed down if I HAD made a scene. If the police did come he would have felt pretty foolish for not providing us the food we had paid for, or at the very least, a receipt. I made the decision to leave, attempt to make light of the situation and get my boy some food. We went straight to Lindsey's and sat at the cook's counter where they always treat my boy like a prince.

This place has the best chicken! If you want white chicken only, the price is very fair. Family friendly pricing and a good atmosphere in a clean, country decor.

I love their chicken and dumplings but all their food is great. I have always found their prices to be reasonable and the service is always great. The bakery is so good. You walk in the door and smell all those fresh baked items and you know ypu can't leave without some.
