Dora's Bridal & Formal

I first heard about Dora's Bridal when I visited the Bridal show in January. I came in from out of town for the show and to visit several of the bridal salons in Cleveland. After meeting them at the show, I put them on my list and came back a few weeks later. From the time I came in to the store, I was treated like family. I found a beautiful gown that both I and my mother loved and bought it. Since they are a special order shop, my gown was ordered and it actually came in earlier than the expected date, I was so excited when I went back to the store to try it on. It was PERFECT. This time I brought along several of my bridesmaids as well, and found a few styles that looked great, we ordered the dresses for the girls who were there, and several of my other friends went in later to get measured and order. When the dresses arrived, they looked great. We had several minor alterations done, and their seamstress was wonderful to work with. I have to admit that I was a little bit nervous about placing an order with a bridal store about 2 hours from my home, but the experience has been truly WONDERFUL. One of my bridesmaids was recently engaged, and she says she will also be purchasing her gown from Dora's. I would highly recommend Dora's Bridal to anyone.

I am currently in the process of dealing with Dora's Bridal, and I WOULD NOT recommend them to anyone. I had been to the store several times prior to ordering my flower girl and bridesmaid dresses and had no issues; I actually enjoyed all of my encounters there. That was until my dresses came in. A total of 8 dresses where ordered, so far 7 have arrived and ALL 7 do not fit. Come to find out that NONE of the girls where measured correctly and NONE of them where told that the sizes they where ordering where WAY OFF. I had been advised to order my daughter a 3 for her measurements, come to find out she truly needed a 5 given the company measurements, the list goes on. My sister was advised to buy a 10 when she was actually a 14 in that companies dress, same for ALL my others girls. DO NOT ORDER YOUR DRESSES THROUGH DORA'S BRIDAL!!!! They purposely mis- advise so you pay for alterations, I PROMISE YOU. I have spoken with other woman who will tell you the same exact thing. I gave them over $1,500.00 for all my dresses, NO WAY I am paying $500+ in alterations...
