If you want to have the best/professional hair services in Dayton, visit Affinity Salon and Day Spa which make you look and feel great.
I know Craig Burkholder ? owner/Master Designer @ Affinity salon for many years, he always gets new services and new products @ his salon as they get available, also, gets all his team members trained to provide the best services in hair/skin industry. After visiting my family in Europe last summer I leaned about new hair straightening service which makes your hair straight for about 3-6 month like a reverse perm. When I got back home, I knew who to call; I did call Affinity Salon and got a FREE consultation with Craig who recommended Keratin straightening treatment for my hair. In 1 week I got my hair straightening done. I love it, my hair never looks so shiny, healthy and straight which takes less time to style it. I have a very thick/ curly hair but after Keratin treatment my hair feels weightless. Also, Craig recommended trying a new hair color which I did try and after new hair color my hair look awesome: shiny, healthy with more natural looking color then ever. I got a lot of compliments on my hair. Worth every penny

After running errands on a busy Saturday afternoon, I landed in the chair of Affinity owner and master designer Craig Burkholder. His friendly nature immediately put me at ease and he was very intuitive when it came to figuring out what my concerns were with regard to my hair. After the initial consultation, he gave me a wonderfully relaxing scalp and neck massage. At this point, it was clear to me how dedicated he is to providing the experience of renewal to each person who comes through his door.

During the cut and style portion of the visit, he clipped with delicate precision and exacting care. He followed the shears with a fine toothed comb and gave me volume I've never been able to create myself. But it's really not about the sheers or the comb. It's about the hands of a skilled artisan. And he teaches every one of his assistants to work in the same way. I was thoroughly impressed with the level of service that I received. Craig's skill does not come cheap, and it absolutely shouldn't. It's a good value.

I've been a customer at Affinity for over five years and can honestly say I get treated just as special now as I did the first time I walked into the salon. You get a relaxing head message with peppermint oil while discussing your last haircut (what you liked/didn't like) and what you want done today. Then after your hair is washed you get a neck massage with a warm towel. Just the perfect thing to relax you after a hard day at the office or with the kids.

I hosted a "Spa Party" this past Friday night and it was a raging success!! There were 12 of us - you arrive and change into spa robes and slippers. Then relax with your friends as you nosh on appetizers provided by Affinity and wine provided by the hostess. It was a blast and everyone had a great time. The most frequent comment I heard was - why haven't we done this before? and when are we doing this again??

If you want to be treated like the salon's best customer AND get a great haircut and/or color, come to Affinity. I'm high-maintenance and very demanding, so if they can impress me that's impressive!

WOW! What a beautiful salon and spa. I have visited this salon on many occasions and have received the greatest service from everyone there. The receptionist always greets me with a smile and offers me a beverage. Emily Grace and Stacy have both done my hair and it always looks so wonderful when they finish. I had the most wonderful facial from Crystal (she has magic fingers). The pedicures I get from Holly last so long that my toenails grow out before my pedicure fades. I would recommend this salon and spa to all my friends and family. Thank you for your service.

Peggy, Lou Ann, Bernie, Emily Grace and others greet you with warmth when you arrive and the Aveda tea is great! What's best is that the entire salon staff works as a team. If your stylist isn't available or if you want to change to try something new, you can schedule with someone else and no one is upset. The salon has expanded significantly in the last 10 years, and has been listed in the Top 200 by "Salon Today" for the last 6 years. Affinity is an Aveda concept salon and has all the Aveda products, gift cards, and spa packages for your convenience. It is a busy place, has a fun cafe type atmosphere in the waiting area, and keeps its employees current on the latest trends and techniques in the industry. The staff is friendly and quickly gets to know you. I can highly recommend Affinity to anyone looking for the ultimate in salon and spa experience.

I had just gotten my drink when I was whisked away for a head massage and a shampoo....can I tell you I was in heaven before I even got into the stylist's chair!! As soon as I was seated for my cut, my stylist interviewed me on my work and social life so that he could create the best style me. His vision was absolutely great!! During the process he made me feel like I was getting pampered....I absolutely loved it!!! After he was finished he made sure I liked what he had done (which I totally did!!) and escoreted me to the receptionist. I checked out and made sure and booked my next appointment....I can't wait to go back!!! I definitely recommed this salon to anyone because I know you will enjoy your experience as much as I did!!!

I went to Affinity for a haircut a while back & was less than impressed. I normally go to another Aveda salon in dayton, which i am happy with, but i couldnt get into my stylist so i thought i would try something new. When I got there i was greeted by a lady at the front desk, who was nice, but seem preoccupied. I was escorted to the waiting area, where i waited for 30 minutes, before the hair stylist said came out. i understand that people run late, i just expect someone to come out & apologize, not just leave me there to sit in the uncomfortable metal chairs. (there was also a dog yipping in the background) Maybe a "Hi, i'm [insert name here], i'll be doing your hair today, i'm really sorry i'm running behind, are you ok on time." Maybe in the life of Affinity their clients' busy lives dont matter. Eventually i was greeted by a girl that looked as though she had a little too much fun the night before.....(messy hair, smelled like a bar) She was ok, seemed like she hated her job & didnt really have any new ideas on when i asked what she thought would be good with my hair. My haircut was ok but looked exactly like it did before, i still had some dead ends. & throughout my whole service the dog was still yipping away & running about the salon....maybe i made a mistake & i was at the dog groomers....All i know is thank goodness i'm not allergic to dogs..... after my bad experience i started talking to some friends about & one of my guy friends had a similar experience, except the owner of the salon, who did his hair, told him his skin looked like leather & my friend is only 23...now that is customer service.
