I have bought several things from there over the years. Love the unique selection of items. Very lovely store, but over mothers day my kids, 17 and 12 went to buy me an Alex and Ani bracelet. They only had a enough to buy me 1 bracelet, $28. Since they did not have them yet, the sales woman suggested a gift cert and for their inconvienence a candle by Alex and Ani at a reduced price. My child not really experienced in shopping didnt ask questions, or realizing a candle can be so flipping expensive. So i got a gift cert for $20(not enough to buy a bracelet) and a candle for i believe $38. So they were talked into spending $58 when they only asked for one bracelet for $28. I feel they were taken advantage of because they were kids and the sales lady had no business suggesting they spend more than they were to spend, and i wouldnt say anything to my kids because their heart was in the right place. I have gone back to buy my bracelet with my gift cert plus the extra $8 i had to pay and i will continue to go back. Just a note to the sales people, please do not talk people into spending more than they have to spend on a gift, especially a teenager. A gift cert for $28 would have been a better suggestion.

I am a "Pandora Girl", however I purchased a Troll bracelet from Finestra Gallery after seeing the array of beautiful beads in stock. I've visited the store a half dozen times since my initial purchase and have always found the staff to be helpful, knowledgeable, and thrilled to talk with some who shares their love for these tiny pieces of metal or glass. I don't know what happened before or during your visit, and I agree that this situation could have been handled better but as I get older I've learned to give people a break. Perhaps there was something tragic going on in this person's life that caused manners to be overlooked but I don't want to make excuses for her. I love supporting the small businesses because if they're gone then we'll have to purchase everything on line-not a good thing. I'd give the gallery another try, great and passionate people work there, and they have so many wonderful beads that I don't want the behavior of one person to keep you from seeing the vast number of beads available to you. Plus, I'd be willing to bet that you'll be met with open arms, adorned by Troll bracelets, on your next visit. Blessings.

I went to Finestra Gallery on September 2, 2009,to purchase a Troll bracelet and beads. My husband and I entered the store, the salesperson was on the phone. We proceeded to look around the gallery and finally I located some of the Troll beads. The salesperson continued to talk loudly on the phone and never acknowledged our presence. I can understand if the phone call was important. What I do not understand is why she could not excuse herself for a minute and at least acknowledge us. Let us know she would be with us shortly?? After about 10 to 15 minutes of listening to her talk my husband and I left the store. I ordered my bracelet online, spent about $300. She not only lost our business on that day, but also any future business. I will order all future bead purchases online or shop at another establishment. Why would I give my business to an establishment who thinks they are more important to than their customers. Very rude!
