5 Stars: Quaint bookstore (by Stephanie S.)

If you've seen the movie You've Got Mail, Appletree Books will remind you a lot of The Shop Around the Corner in the movie. The only difference is that unlike the store in the movie, Appletree has books for all ages. They have books that are popular now as well as more obscure ones so you can find a good, obscure book and start a trend among your friends.

5 Stars: Charming Bookstore (by Jennifer Z.)

My friend and I were browsing Cedar Road, stopping in the little stores, and this was one of the charming bookstores we went in. They had many genres for many different people and I was able to find some books for my dad's friend's 4-year-old son (my parents had been looking for one that he most likely didn't have) that didn't seem commonplace. His parents assured mine that he didn't have those books, and they quickly became his favorites - his parents had to read him one multiple times each night for at least three weeks! Anyway, great place with novel books.

5 Stars: A great place to browse (by D.B. R.)

This bookstore has a really nice selection in a fairly small space, and its conveniently located along Cedar Road at Fairmount Boulevard in a row of stores and businesses that attract shoppers who want to park their cars and then get in some pleasant walking. The staff are pleasant. Folks, we need to keep bookstores like this in business, or resign ourselves only to monster bookstores in the very near future. Apple Tree Books is worth your time.
