These guys are a bunch of scrub rejects from other outfits that coulnt keep a real job so naturally now they all work together under the same roof. They HACKED in a furnace for me and to this day I regret ever calling them. At least my old furnace worked and looked good. My new Tempstar furnace, [Tempstar brand by the way the cheapest brand out there, anyone can buy one at Carr supply for $500-$800) has had problems allready and its only 1yr old!!! They tried to sell me a service contract and noted that this could happen if I diddnt get one. Its almost as if they knew it would break and I would need help. They came back out 3 times within the first 30 days to fix it. After their 30 day warrenty ran out I never herd from them again. They changed their name from (Airmasters) to (Heating and Cooling Services) and operate out of Hilliard now so people of Hilliard BEWARE ! !

Hmm. the reviews here are scary. Our home warranty people recommended this company to fix our furnace. They said they'd be here between 8:00am and noon. No sign of them yet. Temp outside is 11 degrees, inside is 54 and I've been freezing to death since last night. I think I'll get a reputable company here instead. Thanks for posting everyone!

This company now goes by Heating and Cooling Service, LLC. I can only add to the horrible reviews posted here. Do not let these people on your property. American Home Shield sent them to our house in 2007 to replace a faulty blower motor in our furnace. The first blower motor they brought wouldn't fit. Their technician had absolutely no idea how to wire the second blower they brought but got it working. Now (10/20/10) my furnace is malfunctioning again. I called a local contractor of my choice who did a very thorough cleaning, inspection and test and said the blower motor is defective and the blower fan was never balanced properly when the motor was replaced. The blower will not run on it's highest settings, causing us to use more energy to take longer to heat or cool the house. So, we called American Home Shield again and they referred Heating and Cooling Service, LLC as the provider. When AHS sent a confirming email for the appointment, it listed the contractor's email address as airmastersheating1@yahoo.com. I immediately got suspicious and Googled their phone number. Heating and Cooling Service, LLC is Air Masters with a spiffy new name. Needless to say I called AHS back and reminded them of the conversation we had in 2007 where I told them Airmasters was never allowed on my property again. DON'T WALK AWAY, RUN AWAY. IN FACT, RUN FAST, REALLY FAST.

All of the people who wrote a review in 08/09 are mistaken in the company they are writing about. Airmasters has been out of business for quite some time.

I also had a horrible time with air masters heating & cooling. I'm assuming it is this same company as these other reviews (phone 614-851-6942). Like others, my home warranty sent them to repair my furnace. It took 12 days for my furnace to be repaired- which to me seems extreme no mater what parts had to be ordered. During this time there was an extreme lack of communication from heating and cooling. We called countless times, they never answered their phone once. We left several messages requesting updates, they never called back. We did learn a trick though, they'll answer the phone if the warranty company calls them directly, so we started requesting updates through this mechanism. Don't use them if you can avoid them!

On 09-05-08 our home warranty company sent this company to our home to fix a drainage issue with our furnace. During the work on the furnace the technician somehow managed to "blow a fuse". The technician advised my wife of this and stated he would fix the problem and be on his way. He abruptly left through the back gate of the home after "fixing" the problem and my wife never signed anything. The furnace sat unused until recently. On 10-27-08 we attempted to turn on our heat and found no power. After looking into the furnace I found that the technician never replaced the fuse but placed a piece of copper wire in the circuit board instead. I have been told from a family member that this action may have destroyed the circuit board potentially costing us hundreds of dollars. We have attempted to get a person from their business back out but to no avail. After numerous unanswered phone calls finally on 10-30-08 the manager called and said he would call back shortly and advise when someone would be back out, we never received another call. My wife attempted to call the business at 1:00pm and only got to leave a message. As of now we have not heard back from the company. The company has failed to meet the standards on the back of their unsigned invoice. To top off the issue my wife is currently nine months pregnant and we have not had heat in our home. Now we are forced to pay out of our pockets to fix a problem this company caused. Stay away from this company and advise your home warranty company you do not want them.

Horrible customer service. Does not return calls. Finally got a response and service technician visited our house a few days later. Parts needed to be ordered. I was promised that the "office" would follow up with me the next day. Several days later and after multiple calls to the "office" still no response. Will my furnace ever get fixed????

The "office" is a personal residence. Don't bother stopping by, they will not answer the door.

The only reason I used this company was because it was handled through my home warranty...AHS. AHS has not been able to contact Air Masters either. As far as I am concerned, AHS is only as good as their contractors...guess that means they are worthless too.

Please try to find a differnt company if you can! I am not impressed by their work. The technition that came acted like he had never seen an air conditioner before, then he told me that it would cost around $400 to fix. I then called sears, and they had it fixed within 1 hour, for $25!!!!

My Home Warranty company sent this company to check the problem with my furnace. Their technician wasn't in my basement for 20 minutes, never removed the panel that would show this, but concluded we had a cracked heat exchanger. He did not check the air for carbon monoxide either. He left us with a piece of paper that said we had a cracked heat exchanger and $50 check from us. He said they would be in touch after they tallked to the Home Warranty company, but we would probably need a new furnace. This company called later to let us know the Home Warranty had approved a new furnace, but we would have to cover $1500-$1600 for sheet metal work to make the duct work match up!
We decided to get another opinion and the furnace was fixed and working for approx. $400....NO cracked heat exchanger and the air quality was check and cleared for carbon monoxide as well.

Months later, the Home Warranty company wanted to send these same people out to check the serial numbers on our furnace to determine if we had the NEW FURNACE Air Masters had billed our home warranty company for. We refused having Air Masters enter our home and asked that a third party company come to inspect it and report it's findings to our Home Warranty company. We have been told this is NOT the first time faud has taken place by this company. RUN DON'T WALK!
