Yau's was formerly Wong Gei on campus. They moved into a nicer, cleaner space just south of campus. It's very low-key and the food is always great and very inexpensive. I recommend asking what Chinese greens (such as kang kung or choi sum) are available and also inquire about the specials on the dry-erase board. They are always friendly and willing to help with good recommendations.

Pros: Food, value, service

Cons: Not the best location

I am a college student, so I admit my budget is a bit tighter than some, however as an Asian American I know good Chinese food when I have it. Yau's does a good job of being clean(rare for cheap Chinese), good-tasting, not too greasy, and offering very friendly service. The only reason I would not give them five stars is because I do not consider it top-notch Chinese food, but this is not to say it does not compare with many of the more expensive Chinese restaurants in town. Honestly, I go to Yau's at least once or twice a week.

PROS: cheap, clean, not too greasy, friendly service
CONS: place is small and not designed for nice dine-in experience
