I have had all three of my girls with this group and they excel at women's care. I have worked with everyone from the Dr.s to the mid wives. The mid wives are very focused on helping you have your baby and are some of the best partners that you could ask for.
I have also run into my share of issues during the birth process and they have helped me through without any issues.
You can't go wrong with this practice. After 3 babies I should know!

Just though I'd share my experience with PWH. Spoke with Raine Cropper about my concerns about the high cesarean rate (theirs is 18% not bad, but not great either) in a pre-conception interview. She actually told me once when a woman was having a long labor, she suggested that they break her water to "get her going" This is definitely NOT natural childbirth friendly and is one of the interventions that can lead to a cesarean. This led me to believe that I do not want to use them even though they have midwives, they do not seem to really be following the midwives model of care. Also, as with many practices, you are not guaranteed whom you will have attending your birth.

PROS: have midwives
CONS: not completely natural birth friendly

I spent about half of my latest pregnancy (including delivery) being cared for by the doctors and staff (not to mention Nurse Practitioners & Midwives), of the Professionals for Women's Health office. I rarely ever waited long to be seen, always had my questions answered, and they went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. I would recommend their services- especially Rainie Cropper- to any woman, for her OB/GYN needs. I continue to use them yearly for my annual check-ups. I can't think of any other place I'd rather be seen!

I cannot say enough about Professionals for Womens Health! I was very impressed with the welcoming waiting area and the length of my wait! I have never gotten into my doctor so quickly!! They obviously don't book appointments as closely together as other places do. I was very pleased with the care and professionalism I received there.

I cannot say enought great things about this practice! I am very inpressed. I love the fact that they have ob/gyn's and midwives in their office, so you can decide who you would like to see. Their office is hardley ever crowded, and I have never waited more than 15 minutes to be called in!
