Heather was one of those vendors you're thankful for during the wedding planning process because she was organized, professional, friendly and fully committed to the project. Working with Heather was so easy, stress-free and pleasant! Admittedly, flowers weren't my top priority. Heather created a beautiful, cohesive "vision" from my not-so-well-planned flower ideas and in one meeting, had it all figured out. The final results were beautiful, fresh and fragrant. My bridal bouquet was one of the most stunning I've ever seen and is just now starting to fade (after 10 days in plain water.) The bouquets and centerpieces were just a bit smaller than I had imagined, but didn't take away from how lovely they were. Highly recommend Bloomtastic!

There is no other place I would recommend for brides in Columbus. Amy at Bloomtastic was very accommodating to my vision while respecting my budget. I am not detail oriented and Amy really helped harness in all my big picture and unique ideas. She was creative and able to follow through throughout the process. Amy was also so patient with me; from the initial drawing of the contract when I asked her to tweak details in the flowers to achieve the same esthetic while lowering cost, to when I changed my mind for centerpieces at my final consultation. On the day of the wedding, I was taken aback how beautiful everything turned out it was all better than I had obsessively imagined! The wedding was in September, and now that we are getting pictures back, I am reminded of how much the Bloomtastic touch added to my simple, rustic, yet elegant wedding! My blooms really did add a fantastic element to the pictures.

I was on a very tight budget for my wedding and wasn't sure I was going to be able to have the "wow" factor I wanted from my flowers. I had an idea of what I wanted, but when I sat down with Heather, she was ready to suggest elegant, cost-effective alternatives that would not only look beautiful, but would be classic yet different, and would fit well within my budget. The flowers were absolutely stunning, so fresh, and complimented the bridal party's attire so beautifully. I am STILL getting remarks on how wonderful the florals complemented everything! I would recommend working with Heather and her crew any day. I have 4 sisters and I will send all of them to Bloomtastic for their wedding flowers.

I would highly recommend Bloomtastic to any bride planning a wedding. I had the most wonderful experience with the store and especially Heather, who helped me plan the look of my flowers for the big day. From the very beginning Heather was very helpful in getting me what I wanted for my budget. I talked to other florists and they pretty much laughed me out of the store when I told them what my budget was for 9 bridesmaids, 9 groomsmen, 5 grandparents, and 4 parents. Heather on the other hand worked with me. I picked out all the flowers that I wanted and she made it work. Heather was also doing another wedding that day and you never would have known that she was splitting her time between the two. Everything was exceptional when it showed up to the church. Again, I would highly recommend them. The prices, customer service, and overall experience was amazing!

Heather was always responsive to my contacts even after our initial meeting and before our final consultation to help me work within my budget. The flowers looked great on our wedding day and arrived on schedule they even had extras that they allowed us to have which made for great hair accessories for my bridesmaids. We are so glad we chose them, and we would recommend them to anyone!

Bloomtastic creates modern flower designs with unique touches. My wedding flowers were gorgeous and fresh. Guests commented on my beautiful flower bouquet and large ceremony flower displays. You're taking a chance with Bloomtastic - Seven days before my wedding this would have been a 5-star review. Heather and the rest of the staff at Bloomtastic were very helpful and seemed accommodating BEFORE I made my final payment. Once my final payment was made, however, Heather was rude and very difficult to work with. E-mail became Heather's sole choice of communication when I had concerns to discuss with her the week of the wedding. Not only was this inconvenient and impersonal, but her e-mails were condescending and hostile. I cannot recommend Bloomtastic Florist because of their poor customer service, particularly when I needed the support the most.

Bloomtastic did my wedding flowers and they were better than I had expected. They were just what I wanted! Prefect! I did yellow and white daisy bouquets and loved them. Price was reasonable compared to other flower shops I went to. I would recommend them to others.

I used Bloomtastic for my bouquet and my bridesmaids' bouquets. I LOVED the flowers! I worked with a few people from the place, and not only did they make me feel comfortable but they also made the process very easy. I came in with a list of flowers I wanted to use and they put together bouquets that were absolutely gorgeous! If I ever need to use flowers again, I would definitely use Bloomtastic, as well as refer people to them.

Bloomtastic is a disaster. My wedding was June 13, 2009, an event for which they failed to arrive.
I never thought this could happen to me and to my wedding. I spent countless hours researching each and every vendor I selected and it seemed that Bloomtastic had a good reputation for wedding flowers. After meeting with them and paying the deposit I spent countless more hours looking though literally thousands of pictures of flowers to find exactly what I wanted. They promised me that I was in good hands. WRONG. First, they emailed me a contract about a month before the wedding that had my wedding date as June 14; I noticed this error immediately and went to their shop in person to correct the problem. When I pointed it out, the employee said something like yeah that would be bad if we came on the wrong day, huh? I certainly agreed. They printed out a new contract with the correct date and that is the one I signed when my mom and I paid the balance. My wedding day finally came, but at about 1:00 the wedding coordinator at the church came in wondering if I had the cell number for anyone at Bloomtastic. This was my first inkling of disaster. The only number I had was the one for the store-- a number with an outdated message and no answer. By 2:00 (my wedding was at 3:30), I still hadnt even seen my mom that day because she was trying to deal with this situation. She wasnt sure if she should send friends and family to Kroger to get something or if Bloomtastic would show up at the last minute. So, during this time, my bridesmaids are dressed; the photographers want to get going, yet I cant because my mom isnt around to help me. Needless to say, I was a MESS. I wanted the flowers that I spent so much time thinking about; I wanted my mom with me; I wanted everything to run like it was supposed to. Finally, my mom was able to come in and help me, but the photographers were able to get very few pre-wedding shots with my bridesmaids because of the delay caused by Bloomtastic. My husbands and my family and friends worked tirelessly and with the help of a Kroger florist, managed to create bouquets and boutonnieres for the wedding party. During this time, EVERYONE was calling the shopeven the groomsmenyet no one ever answered. Even the next day (the 14th), when my mom called, they said they were just loading up the truck. The girl she talked to sounded genuinely sorry and said that Heather would call us. Heather did not call. My mom had to call back again on Monday to talk to Heather who said that I was her client, not my mom. Yet, she did not call me either. When I got home from my honeymoon, I had an email and a check in a blank envelope without even so much as an Im sorry note. Furthermore, Heather refused to reimburse us for the $250 we had to spend on Kroger flowers. So essentially, we had to pay $250 for their big mistake. I dont want to ruin Heathers business or anything like that; I just dont want other brides (or their friends and family) to have to through anything like what I went though on what is supposed to be the best day of your life. THANKS BLOOMTASTIC.

I worked with Heather to create the perfect vision for my wedding. She was professional, helped me stay within budget and created a really unique look. I got so many compliments on my bouquets, and my guests said the centerpieces were "classy" and "done right" :) I couldn't have been happier with my wedding flowers from Bloomtastic and I'd recommend working with Heather to anyone. In fact, I'm using her for an upcoming work event as well! Everything she provided was beautiful, fresh, on time - all exactly as planned and just the way I wanted it!

I needed "coaching" for the best Valentine's gift for my wife and our unique circumstances. Staff was most interested in my situation and need rather than selling me what I didn't. Gift was not only the right choice, but great quality and she really enjoyed it (and I got the credit!). OK, it wasn't flowers this time, but quality Harry London chocolates.

I definitely recommend Heather and the staff at Bloomtastic to anyone looking for a florist in the central Ohio area. I did not know much about flowers or what I wanted for my wedding on my initial consultation. Heather was very patient and helpful, but still allowed me to make the final decisions. The bouquets she and her staff put together were absolutely beautiful! I knew they were going to be awesome, but when I saw them, they far exceeded my expectations. I received so many compliments on them! I wasn't planning to preserve my bouquet, but once I saw it, I changed my mind. I want to be able to keep it forever!

My wedding was a day I have dreamed about for so long and it was perfect! I loved every bit of it! The flowers make everything!

I went to Bloomtastic and Heather helped me out. I was unsure of what I wanted, but I knew the colors I wanted to use. She helped me figure out bouquets that were unique and beautiful for the Bridesmaids. They were gorgeous! They ladies looked Beautiful!! My wedding was in October and a lot of my colors I liked were Red and Green, she helped me find something that wouldn't look like Christmas. My bouquet was amazing!!! I absolutely loved it and was sad that I wouldn't get to see it for more than 1 day. The only thing was, the mom's were supposed to have wrist corsages, but ended up getting pin on corsages. But Heather made this right and everything is wonderful!!

This is pretty much what I have to say for Bloomtastic & Heather. Beautiful!! Fantastic!! Wonderful!!

My husband and I hired Bloomtastic for our wedding reception. My initial consultation with Heather was VERY helpful. We hadn't decided on a venue and Heather went so far as to send me recommendations and links. We knew we wanted vintage bottles for the guest tables. Heather spent time researching bottles on line and was apologetic that she was unable to find any less expensive on line. When asked, she made recommendations as to where we might be able to find some cheaper (which we did). Based on my vision for the event she made excellent recommendations for the arrangements and galvonized tins they were displayed in as well. The flowers were beautiful. She even provided us with additional flowers for a bouquet for the bar. We were very pleased!

Heather was my florist for my June wedding and did a wonderful job! I didn't really know much about flowers when we first met, but she really helped me create a classic and elegant look I was going for on my big day. The arrangements were absolutely gorgeous and looked great with my dress and my bridesmaid dresses. The flowers really pulled everything together. The flowers the day of our wedding were so stunning and I was so happy with them.
I could not imagine working with another florist. Bloomtastic is a great company and Heather is fantastic! I went in there not having a clue with what I wanted and Heather was so helpful. She helped me pick the flowers and the colors that would be the most complimentary on our day. Not only does she have an eye for this, but also she is also very patient, even after I changed my mind a few times! In addition, she was very prompt about returning e-mails, and working within our budget. I would recommend Bloomtastic again and again, they were awesome to work with!

I met with quite a few florists while planning my wedding and I knew Heather would be great as soon as I met her - she has a great personality and is very easy to work with! She is willing to work with whatever budget you may have and she will incorporate everything you want as well as suggesting fun and creative ideas of her own!
I loved my bouquet and my centerpieces were amazing. Heather is also great about responding to emails promptly which is my preferred method of communication so that was great. I would definately recommned Bloomtastic for your wedding or any other services!!

Every girl dreams of a perfect wedding day and that is exactly what Heather and Bloomtastic gave me. I found Bloomtastic on the internet and had seen their work in Columbus Bride magazine. Although I had never used Bloomtastic's services before when I met with Heather I immediately knew that she was the right florist for me! Heather was so much fun to work with and had such creative ideas! I just went in, told her what I was thinking of and right away she knew exactly what to do! She didn't even miss a beat when I explained that I was going for a lime green wedding theme! Heather was so nice, professional, prompt at returning emails and phone calls and very thorough in her planning for my wedding.

For my wedding, Heather was able to harmonize my idea of incorporating limes into the table decorations with gorgeous bowls overflowing with hydrangeas, jade roses and lilies. She was even able to suggest some decorations for the day that I hadnt even considered. On the day of the wedding the flowers were so beautiful. Really it was like a fairy tale -- no joke! Heather was there setting up when I was getting my pictures taken and it was so much fun to watch her put everything together. Actually, come to think of it my flowers were there for me when we got there! On time and thorough might even be an understatement! Even the cake decorations and the toss bouquet (Heather's gift to me!) were almost to beautiful to throw away! (My mom took the cake topper home and put it in water and it lasted a week!) All in all it was everything that I had envisioned and more!

A side note -- not only were the flowers and decorations wonderful the table arrangements lasted forever! It has been over two weeks since my wedding and I still have some of the flowers from one of my centerpieces on my kitchen table! I am so glad that I worked with Heather and Bloomtastic for my wedding and I would recommend Bloomtastic to anyone who wants to have an absolutely beautiful wedding!

After interviewing several places to do my wedding flowers, I was thrilled to finally find Bloomtastic! The other places had great ideas, but were way too overpriced! When I met with Heather, our consultant, she took her time to really listen to what I was looking for, as well as what the style of our wedding was. She even sketched out my dress and my bridesmaids dresses so she had a "vision" of the wedding in her mind. (wow!) She was very careful to take the month of our wedding into consideration to be sure that the flowers we selected were in season, and thus, were less expensive for us. She truly catered to us in every way possible. We met on several occasions and she was incredibly flexible... she even helped us change part of the design until only a few weeks before the wedding. She was prompt in returning all emails and calls and never seemed bothered by my hundreds of questions! When the wedding day finally came, all of our bouquets were amazing. Mine was simply stunning, and I'm really wishing now that I had paid some extra money to have a company preserve my bouquet. Though the roses did wilt a little while they were outside in the August heat, I felt the bouquets were impeccably created, and the design was just like we discussed. Our altar arrangements (callas and curly willow) were simple and perfect. Our centerpieces for the reception were so unique and I received tons of compliments on them. When explained my ideas to Heather, she added some of her own expertise to design these awesome centerpieces. We had three small cylindrical vases of varying heights in the center. They had river rocks in the bases and roses submerged under water with a floating candle on top. All of this was sitting on a huge palm leaf. They were amazing. :) I've been so pleased with Bloomtastic's service that I would recommend them to anyone! If you are getting married, Bloomtastic really has the whole package!

Heather was able to accommodate all of my requests, and she did a great job of translating my vision into beautiful arrangements and bouquets. Bloomtastic was one of my favorite parts of planning my wedding. I had previously visited a couple of other florists and did not like my experiences. They were not affordable and didn't make me feel like my choices were any good. At Bloomtastic, however, Heather made me feel like my choices were going to be perfect and made me feel like I was making good choices. And they absolutely were perfect! The flowers were within my budget, lasted a long time, were in great condition, and arrived on time and complete!! Heather was amazing to work with as well! She really listened to what I was looking for, made a few suggestions and allowed me to make my own choices. I would definitely recommend Heather at Bloomtastic as part of anyone's wedding day. I am so happy I chose Bloomtastic for my wedding day flowers. Everything was absolutely beautiful and Heather was fantastic to work with. She designed our bouquets with nerine lilies and roses and everyone loved them. Communication and customer service was unparalleled to any of the other florists I looked into before finding Bloomtastic. On the day of the wedding Heather delivered the flowers and we realized that I had not ordered boutonnieres for the two additions guys my husband had added to the wedding party after I put the flower order in. Heather was FABULOUS about it, and had 2 additional flowers delivered to the church just in time for the guys to walk into the sanctuary. She definitely went above and beyond my expectations.

Heather Waits owner of Bloomtastic provided beautiful flowers for our wedding day. The bridal bouquets were amazing, as well as the corsages and boutonnieres. The combination of Gerberas and Roses in the colors of red, orange, and yellow was very charming. The floral arrangements at the church on either side of the alter and on the pews were fantastic. The center pieces for the tables at our reception were very elegant and lovely and the cake looked wonderful. Heather gave us great ideas and worked within our budget. In addition, she personally made sure that the flowers were placed/ set up properly which gave us great comfort.

Heather is so nice....One of our best vendors for our wedding. We met twice....she listened to exactly what we wanted, and she understood the first time (unlike our other wedding vendors who needed multiple meetings to understand what we wanted). The flowers showed up on time to the church, and were absolutely beautiful, exactly what we had talked about. My bridal bouquet was perfect...I am having it preserved so that we can have it forever.

I'm not from Columbus, so I had absolutely no idea who to use for what. I found Bloomtastic from a search I did, either on theknot.com, or something else. I honestly can't remember. Regardless, I met with Heather, and loved her from the beginning. I thought she was quite professional and she had wonderful ideas. I wanted the typical "fairytale" wedding, and I thought she did a wonderful job with my flowers. My bouquet was stunning. It was everything I had ever imagined. My bridesmaids loved their bouquets also. Heather delivered my flowers, in person, to the cathedral, before we even arrived. VERY IMPRESSIVE!!! Not to mention the fact that she was more than willing to provide vases for the bouquets, so they didn't wilt, which I totally took advantage of! Our first consult consisted of us just pretty much tossing ideas back and forth. She wrote everything down. Closer to the wedding, we had a second consult. She actually showed me pictures of what the actual flowers looked like. I got EXACTLY what I asked for. She also provided my toss bouquet as her gift to me, and it was just as nice as the other bouquets. I was expecting to spend a ton of money on flowers, but with Heather and Bloomtastic, I was pleasantly surprised at the cost of my flowers. Over all, I would highly recommend Bloomtastic, and specifically Heather, to anyone and everyone I know who will be getting married in the future. I feel that she did a phenomenal job making my vision of a fairytale wedding come true! Not to mention the numerous compliments we received all night long. It was definitely spectacular! My maid of honor is preserving my bouquet for me. I think that quality speaks for itself. Thank you Heather, and all the staff at Bloomtastic. I could not have asked for anything better. I highly recommend Bloomtastic for any type of occasion especially hiring a florist for your wedding! Heather was professional from the start and had tons of great ideas. Obviously, planning a wedding is a huge job and I had problems with some of the other vendors I hired...Heather was on the ball with absolutely every detail (including the 100's of random questions I had during my planning process) and I knew from the start that I could trust her with my wedding flowers. We had no problems with delivery.....her team was at the reception site and at the church at the exact times she told me. She even called me the day before to confirm the time of delivery and also reassured that everything had arrived and was in perfect condition. (music to a brides ears...especially the day before her wedding!!!) When I first saw my wedding flowers, I was so impressed! I had a multi-colored theme and was blown away by how beautiful they were! My bridesmaids (and guests!) could not believe how vibrant the colors were. (my one bmaid kept her bouquet for 2 weeks in a vase after the wedding!) I highly recommend Heather and her team ESPECIALLY for planning a wedding. Her professionalism, knowledge of the business and wedding planning are all first class!!

Our flowers were gorgeous and we received many many compliments on them. We came home from our reception with two huge ceremony arrangements, which I was sad to leave behind during our honeymoon, but much to our surprise, when we returned a week later we were still able to enjoy them for a little while longer. We highly recommend this florist.

I want to thank them SO VERY MUCH for doing such a great job on our flowers for the BIG DAY! They were absolutely beautiful! We had SO many compliments on them and the flowers on our cake. They looked terrific! I have never seen more beautiful flowers at any wedding I have been to.

And they did a wonderful job listening to my ideas at our first consultation and helping me add to those ideas to come up with the perfect arrangements. It was so comforting to know that they were taking care of all of my flowers for the big day. What a stress reliever! They are experts at what you do and it really shows! I will recommend them to anyone and EVERYONE!

Bloomtastic did our wedding a couple weeks ago and did an absolute fabulous job. Our constant was excellent to work with. She is very personable and worked with in our budget. All the flowers were beautiful!! I highly recommend them!

Just like the other person here, my "throw away bouquet" was "forgotten" (their so called "gift to me"), so I had to throw one of my bridesmaids bouquets. My bouquet was falling apart and wilted before the ceremony even started. I had to stop pictures before hand at least 3 times because the flowers were not held together at all. 3 of the 4 boutonnieres were broken and wilted. Just horrible. At first glance, Heather was easy to work with and very nice, but the quality of flowers and workmanship was absolutely ridiculous. My bouquet was NOTHING like I had described (several times, mind you) and kept falling apart anyway. Would NOT recommend... at all.

I hired Bloomtastic for my wedding flowers. The two consultations that I had were fine, although at my final consultation I was under the impression that I would be viewing sample bouquets and that was not the case. The wedding day came and two hours before the ceremony my flowers had not yet arrived. My mother and I looked everywhere that we could possibly think of incase we somehow missed the delivery, but unsuccessfully. The photographer began pictures without the flowers that I paid several hundred dollars for. My mother tried calling Bloomtastic and received and answering machine, she left a message inquiring on an ETA for my flowers--no return call, of course. 40 minutes before my ceremony is to begin, a member of the church finds my flowers sitting in the sweltering hot lobby (it is the oldest church in Columbus, the foyer is not air conditioned), of my downtown church, without saying a word to anyone!! Clearly there were members of the wedding party inside the church when the delivery was made, we had been there for 2 hours, why wasn't anyone notified? Why would you not contact the bride? Anyway, the flowers were very pretty (nothing worth preserving though). Once I arrived at the reception, my cake/cake table were missing the flower petals that I paid for, and I did not have a toss bouquet that I was told at my initial consultation was Bloomtastics gift to me. I had to toss one of my bridesmaids bouquets (luckily my aunt caught the bouquet and gave it back to the 'maid). My cake was beautiful inspite of no rose petals, but the point is that I paid perfectly good money for those flower petals!! Long story short--I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FLORIST!!!!
