HORRIBLE customer service and so incredibly disrespectful! I was told that it was "unfortunate" that I don't have a mom or family member that can watch my kids for free so I could go back in and let them fix THEIR mistake. My hair was not even remotely close to what I asked for. Them after bring disrespected by the manager several times I requested a refund and was told they would give me $30 of the $136 that I paid and to never come back along with they weren't going to fix my hair that they didn't color anywhere close to how I asked! BEWARE... If they mess up.... good luck getting it fixed. Because in their eyes everyone has all the time in the world to sit in a salon, even with 2 small children.

I followed my stylist here from another salon. She had been cutting my hair for a year and had done a great job. I wanted to change the color, so of course I contacted her.

Let's just say, the color (on my COMPLETELY virgin hair) did not go so well. I am a brunette and wanted to go red. The dye took to my roots and not the ends. Even there at the salon, my stylist noticed that something had went wrong. She had to bleach my hair out and then apply the semi-permanent color. After four hours in the chair, a bit of trauma and devastation, I decided to call it quits. I wasn't sure if I was just being emotional or was overtired, so I wanted to give the color a chance. She did not charge me for the color.

Needless to say, I woke up the next day and was still devastated. I looked like Ronald McDonald and had "hot roots" (where the dye was splotchy at my roots). I called the salon and asked to speak to a manager. I had thought about attempting to remedy the situation at home, but at this point my hair had been so abused by a plethora of chemicals, I was afraid. I was so mortified, I could not even go out in public, and certainly was not interested in returning to work where my 25 employees would have to attempt to take me seriously.

The salon manager called a stylist back in to work to fix it. By fix, we're talking about neutralizing the dye job, but by no means is it my original color nor is it the color I wanted when we set out on this adventure. It's not even a pretty color.

Then... they tried to charge me for the correction. I had every intention of tipping the other stylist who performed the correction, but I was not going to pay for a dye job that was so far off from what I wanted AND cost me 6 hours out of my schedule, causing me to miss a class I paid for.

The salon manager/owner had the nerve to tell me that it didn't look that bad before the correction and accused me of lying about the last time I dyed my hair.. Even the stylist performing my correction understood why I was upset. Further, I will not pay for a service that is so far off base from what I wanted to begin with. I offered them the opportunity to fix it, but the owner wanted to argue with me and tell me I should pay.

I was appalled and will make sure everyone knows that if ANYTHING goes wrong during your visit at Noggins in Anderson, they will not do anything to rectify the situation. Now, I have to take time out of my schedule next week and find a colorist who specializes in corrective color and waste more time, just to get me back to a livable color.

I have been getting my hair cut at Noggins for years. I think the
staff is very friendly and Lisa is just great. Men, do not be afraid
to get your hair cut at a salon. Prices are very fair, and the gals are
great.

I saw a girlfriend of mine that I had niot seen in a couple of weeks, I have known her over 20 years. She had an awesome hair-do. I asked her where sher got her hair done, and told her it was the best I had ever seen it before. She told me Noggins and the stylist who did her hair. So her sister and I called got appointments together and went in. The staff were so friendly, my friend went first and they invited me to come back with her while she was getting her hair done, they got me a chair, I sat right there and we talked as she got her hair done. When the stylist was done with her, it was my turn. I had no idea what I wanted I just new I wanted a change. The stylist was experienced and had an idea for my face shape and level of time I had to work on it everyday. I gave her permission to go for it. I loved it...I had sooo many compliments on my hair, and I told everyone where I had it done. I will definately return everytime I need my hair done..I finally found someone that knows what she is doing. Thanks Noggins.

I never had a better experience in such a professional salon. Noggins staff were friendly and professional. I had my kids with me and they were able to entertain themselves with the box of toys Noggins keeps for the kids. Of course you still can't let your kids run around and bother the other people or hairdressers but having the toys there helps keep them busy. I would highly recommend.

I have only been there once at the time my daughter was 4 months old and in a stroller. From the moment I walked in for my appointment I was very disappointed by the way I was treated . The lady behind the desk asked me if I had to have my daughter with me. She then stated "She may distract the ladies while they work.". Crazy thing she was only 4 month and asleep at that. So I told her No . I then waited 25 minuets for my apt and was put with a lady all the way in the back of the salon. The lady cutting my hair was very nice but did suggest that if I come back that I find a sitter. I was very offended it is not like I had my 5 year old in there running around.Needless to say I will never go back and have told every mother in the neighborhood that I know.
