I worked for Chris back when I was 19. I pushed myself on his teachings and one thing I will never forget him saying..."sure, go ahead and quit. Just know that there is one person out in this world that you are a WPS!" Those words stuck as harsh as they were. If he reads this he will know when he said this. I love him and miss him for this. I now work in the corporate world and hate that I didn't heed his words! Chris is a great man and I still hear his words. He was exactly right.."Go find a job, and work for someone else, you will remember me!" Chris I still dig you man! I know you won't let the weak pieces of s*** allow you to ponder your mission. I regret not sticking with you. Congrats on the pizza! you always bought us good pizza!

Chris Tsirigotis stiffed me out of $1800 in the early to mid-nineties. I was his travel agent. If you ask him he will swear on his mother's (whatever) that he did not do so.

You want a relationship with that?

This is not a job.... it's an independent contractor position where they will load your car up with 1000 pounds of fake art pictures and you will go door to door trying to sell them on commission. You make like $5 per picture so you have to sell a lot of pictures just to break even not to mention .... how long will your car last? They have these BS morning meetings that are a lot like a cult with chanting and grunting. If you accidentally break a picture.... you have to pay for it so you lose money. The owner is a real slimy looking dude and the managers are like brain washed monkeys spouting about how rich they are going to be by selling pictures out of their cars. I felt bad for them until I realized how many people they must lie to and turn over just to pay the rent. All I could think of when I left was.... what a bunch of losers..... research this place before you end up finding out the "real deal" an hour away from the office with some cult follower peddling crappy art knock offs.....

My name is Todd McGuire and I have known Chris Tsirigotis since February of 1997. The people that slander and defame his character should be ashamed of themselves. There is no way anyone who gets to know Chris, could ever have this opinion of him. I have seen Chris help more people than deserved it. Now if Chris is a bad person for wanting to make money and run a successful business, then so is 70% of this country. There is no deception about what he does. He tells people what he is looking for, shows them a day of observation, exactly how sales are made and then asks them can they do what they have seen. As far as the guy who got "MARCHED" out of the gallery, really? The bottom line is, the Art Connection and Chris Tsirigotis help people who are entrepeneurs become business owners through hard work and dedication. Something that these posters obviously don't possess or understand. Sorry if you weren't rich and running your own business in two days, like every other job out there does for you. I hope if you read the posts on here, listen to the unreal rhetoric. A cult? Sure, and they have been allowed to be open for 10 years in Powell, I would also be able to let you contact people who have opened a business after going through the program. Thank You.

The work itself is a mixed bag. Basically the premise of your job is to sell pieces of art in cities and towns throughout Ohio. If you get the second interview (which is easy to do if you're attentive and outgoing) you basically shadow an employee and watch him do a typical day. While talking to the employee I found out that gas is covered when you first start, due to the fact that selling is hard when you don't know what to do. The work itself is easy enough, and works like any sales rep business. Obviously one will lie about the products availability or some bs story to increase the chance of a sale. The work is good if you can stand people, don't mind working alone, and have a decent attitude i guess. I turned down the position due to the fact that it's boring, as you'll primarily be by yourself dealing with customers, and i enjoy constant team effort.

Finally selling is easy as heck. When you have huge stadium shots, already framed and with the teams colors as a filler people will eat it up if they love that sports team. All you have to do is cut deals here and there, and up-sell the idea that you save money by buying it here and now.

Not a bad job, just not for everyone.

I worked for this company for a little over two years, and just because I couldn't hang for longer than that doesn't mean it wasn't a very valuable experience for me. I learned so much and gained an unbelievable work ethic, and an amazing attitude that I guarantee I would not have had before. It built confidence in myself and I'm sorry but every company on the planet is a pyramid. I make more now than I ever have in my life and I completely 100% credit my transformation to Chris and the rest of the driven, hardworking people at the Columbus Art Connection. And Chris is, to this day, one of the greatest people I have ever worked for in my life. Infuriating? yes. Crazy? yes. But he was the first person to ever truly believe in me, before I really believed in myself on any level that truly counted, and, to this day, I think about things he told me and apply it in my life all the time.

okay im going to have to agree with Derrin J on this one i just started there three days ago, and find Chris to be an amazing boss !This is such a waste of time reply to this ignorance, been a long hot day I and should be asleep, but i have to stand up for what i believe! Tis'nt a "cult " Obviously this kat person just didnt have what it took to be a success driven individual..I'm not tryin to put u down sweetheart, but i dont believe you even have the first idea of what a cult really is, ignorance and closemindedness will lead you nowhere in life. Go be an angry un-happy person with your minimum wage "job" and stop trying to scam people, that may be great members here, away! This is for people with drive for sure! lazy unmotivated people more than likely will not even be interviewed anyway...im quite surprised you did. im assumming that usually people with negative energy dont get past the first interview..hmmm I'm loving you all so far. GET FIRED UP JUICE!!!!!!! peace and much love to you all, good luck with that kat! peace=) P.S. so we chant for positive motivation! Is every OSU fan a part of a cult too ... they chant!! ??? just sayin... you may want to Google the word "cult" darlin=) lmao okay im done.... maybe...peace and love and peace and love and peace and love and... harmony! <3 U Chris! *R

I have been in this business for almost 18 yrs and I started out in the sales part. Yes it's tough at first but like anything else you do get better. You can't judge it by being here one day.
The Columbus Art Connection (CAC) has been here in Powell since April '03. It has always been CAC,Collection came from Yellow Pages and they seem to not able to fix it,we gave up on it.
I have worked for Chris 15 of the 18 yrs that I have been in the business. The 3 that I didn't I worked under another Branch Manager and stayed in Atlanta when Chris went to work out of HQ.Like any boss you'll have you won't always agree on things and they can be tough at times. Any job you'll have you will work under someone like this, the boss or a manager. Most people who actually know Chris knows that he does have that tough New York, I want results attitude. They also know he is the type that will go out of his way for people and thinks with his heart and helps people out. He has helped me out quite a bit through the years. It bothers me to see stuff like this knowing some people like to exaggerate because they just can't say, I can't do this, it's ok move on!
There are other companies like this, they are all the same in that it's a, what you put into it you will get out of it, business. It's just that plain and simple. If it's not for you it's not for you. It is ok, move on!
For those who want to be negative and blame the company, the boss, anything and everyone, you got what you put into it, move on it's ok! You can complain and blame the company and that boss at your next job!
And for the person who went out one day, out of the office, who wasn't in here long enough to get to know anyone, especially Chris, shame on you! Saying stuff like that about someone you don't even remotely know! Were a cult because we used to show a video as an introduction to the company. Grow up and move on!!!

I've purchased artwork several times from the Art Connection, and have been extremely pleased.
Being a stay at home mom, I want my house to look high class at an inexspensive price. The Art Connection fits the bill. Their independent contractors bring the artwork to my door step, display it in the house, and even give suggestion on placement. At first, my husband was suspicious. But after checking with the Better Business Bureau, he was satisfied.

Working with the Columbus Art Connection was the most wonderful experience. I learned valuable assests about running my own business and I had more fun at the Art Connection than any other job. I also earned $400 + bonuses, every single week because the Art they sell is AMAZING!! This opportunity is offered to only the true entreprenuer that really doesn't want to work for other people for the rest of their life. The boss, Chris, is a real person that will teach anyone that has drive and determination, how to achieve success. He is blunt and honest and some people can't handle being told their weeknesses. I left the Art Connection to start by own business, that is now very successful. I truely believe I owe my success as a business owner, to the training and teaching that I learned at the Columbus Art Connection. And most importantly the valuable assests Chris Tsirigotis taught me about business.

I recently had the pleasure of meeting one of their sales reps and I couldn't be more satisfied with everything.Their selection of art was fantastic and the prices are surprisingly affordable. The one gentleman that came to my office was so knowledgeable and even offered to bring the pictures to my car. I ended up wanting to exchange one of the pictures and when I called the phone number on the invoice, the person who answered the phone was so helpful and I was able to exchange the picture with no problems whatsoever! I will absolutely buy from them again & again!
