Jimmy O'Neill's Tavern

I go to this place a lot and thought I really like this place.

but today was my birthday party and one waiter was particularly unfriendly and made me felt like an idiot dinning at this place at all.

Let me put it this way: his tone was along the line of words you would say before taking a guy to the back alley and finish him their.

what the heck, right?

if I would have been in the mood for some ass whooping tonight, I would have teared the place down. But thankfully, for the sake of my bday, i held my breath and I saved Jimmy his tavern.

THis is a place that is great to go for drinks, but when their is salmon on the menu, and it comes out looking like jambalaya, well... personally, I should have stuck solely with a grilled cheese and a black and tan. The staff is friendly, but the kitchen should stick with things that could safely be deep fried.

I have been to Jimmy O'neill's a few times for both dinner and drinks with friends. The food is exceptional for a bar and they really go above what you'd expect in terms of quality. Some items are highly priced, but the atmoshpere is good and you can bring in children during the day without a problem for lunch or an early dinner. The staff is also very friendly and they wait on you quickly, busy or otherwise.
