when i finished high school i had to make the biggest decision of my life, why to go for college. after several college visits i had my heart set on the very expensive Ashland University. yes ashland is expensive but in many respects well worth it. in my opinion the education you recieve is unsurpassed. the professors will do everything that they can to make sure that you understand the material. campus life and recreational services do a wonderful job, even the scheduling dept. is pretty good. the only downfall is the housing dept. they have no regard for the students, their job is merely to pack in as many students in the dorms as they can so that the school can make more money. if you would like to have a room to yourself you must basically be a second year senior and if you want to live off campus you must be 22. this creates a rift between the university and many of their loyal in debt students.

PROS: nice campus, fun activities, good education, and awesome profs
CONS: housing and cost
