I went to start my car in the morning and it was just clicking. I called the Bob Sumerel on N Hamilton rd and they helped me get it towed there. Then checked it out as soon as I got there and told me I had a bad connection at the battery. They repaired it and told me that there would be no charge for the service. Got me back on the rd with no problem. I can't thank you guys enough since then I have had tires and brakes put on and the quality of service just keeps getting better. I'll never go anywhere else !

Went in to get a slow leak plugged. They said I needed a new tire. They acted like it was going to blow up at any time. I knew they were full of it. They said It would cost $150+ for 1 tire.
I promptly went to Tire Discounters and they found the screw in my tire and plugged it for $25. 15 mins, in and out.

I foolishly believed the glowing reviews and took my car there just to check on a slow leak in a tire. Guess what? They 'found' a nail in the sidewall of a DIFFERENT tire (not leaking) -- so, because it was in the sidewall, it had to be replaced, and they were ready to sell me a new tire! That was just the beginning. The tire that really was leaking -- only tiny bubbles showed up -- had 2 holes that were 'too close together' to be patched. So, you guessed it -- they had to sell me another tire!!
PLUS, he comes up with a list of repairs of other things -- my CV boots on my front axles are completely shot and seem to have been for some time, spewing grease and road debris into the joint. Entire axles need to be replaced and separately (NOT) the front wheel bearings have to be re-packed -- another charge.
PLUS, he finds a 'huge' oil leak that will cost even more to repair.
AND, my windshield washer which had been working just fine the morning that I pulled into this shop suddenly doesn't work -- which they discovered while 're-filling' my washer fluid. The truth is, that the washer fluid was exactly the same as when I came in, since I had already been checking it. I am sure they have sabotaged it.
I knew I should have worried when they chose to work on my car in the bay furthest from the window so I couldn't watch what they were doing (when all the other bays except one was completely empty).

The total estimate for all of these 'repairs' was almost $1,400 !!!-- and he said this was only their 'cursory' inspection. Who knows what they would have found if they looked harder.
Oh, and I foolishly had asked for a simple oil change -- they billed me for 5 quarts of oil (for a small 4 L engine) and OVERFILLED my oil!!
I left there quickly and went straight to my old tire dealer 2 hours away.
He gave me a good deal, plus he inspected the CV boots that these bozos said were practically disintegrated, and guess what? They were perfectly fine with NO signs of any kind of a leak!

I am now wondering if they stuck that nail into my good tire, just so they could sell me a new tire. And, now I understand why their shop was so empty. It's a ridiculous way to run a business. I hope they shut down soon.
Anyway, I now believe that the other glowing reviews are questionable, if not bogus (perhaps by their own employees or friends). Beware.

Had the oil changed in my car today loved the BOGO! Also had the tires rotated which went well. The people there are friendly and very welcoming. I would recommend the Harrison, Ohio location overall.

I took my SUV here to get an oil change. The mechanics, upon their usual inspection, found three seals on the vehicle that were leaking. They informed me of the leaks and encourage me to take the vehicle to the dealer for repairs, since the seals were covered by the manufacturer's warranty. After taking the car to the dealer, the leaks did exist and were covered by the warranty. Bob Sumerel's honesty ended up saving my $800 in repairs (according to the dealer). Thanks Bob Sumerel! You have a customer for life.

I recently found this place to get my oil changed when my wife and I moved closer to their Hamilton Road location. I took my (new to me) car there to have the oil changed. They were quick and did the job right without trying to sell me anything. Everyone there was very nice, and I felt like I got a good value for my money. I would return here to get my oil changed in a heartbeat.

Because I know absolutely nothing about cars, I usually feel like I am going to be taken advantage of whenever I need work on it Im sure a lot of women feel the same way. But since Ive discovered Bob Summeral on Hamilton Road I feel so much more comfortable getting my car serviced on my own. Ive had my rear brakes and rotors replaced, fuel filter replaced and my oil changed there. And feel like Ive gotten the best valued service possible. They even suggest ways to save me money. For example, my front brakes were squealing so they took a look at them for me, but suggested I call the place where I got them replaced last year because most likely they are still under warranty. So even though they could have just charged me for new brake pads, they are sending me back to their competitor to save me money. There was also this one time where they quoted me 30-45 minutes for service but the part they were waiting for was held up in traffic so it took about 30 minutes longer. They didnt charge me for labor because of the extra long wait.
