I took my son and his friend to the open skate with the DJ and the fun party lights. My son is 10 years old. We went on Friday night and the boys had a blast. We have been to Laser Tag, Bowling, Swimming and Rollerskating. We wanted to try something different. The boys really enjoyed ice skating and have already asked,"When Can We Go Back?" I felt the staff was very helpful and pleasant. And the price is very affordable to skate and for skate rental. We will go back and we are even thinking of having my son's next birthday party there.

I took my niece ice skating for the first time. We had a really good time and the staff was very accommodating when we had to switch out our skates. The rink was bigger than most I've been to, so even though it was busy there was still plenty of room.
My biggest complaint was that this is a major teen hangout and some of the staff treat everyone like are a criminal or up to no good, despite their age. Other than that, I will definitely go back.

I have a long history of ice skating at Winterhurst... I took lessons in elementary school and learned the basics - skating forward, backwards, crossovers, and stopping. I remember it being fun; we played games like ice tag and relay races when we got a little better. I've free skated here a bunch of times since then. I like that there are two rinks, so it's roomier and I don't feel so clustered on the ice with people all around me. They do a good job of refreshing the ice to make it smooth and less choppy again, which I also appreciate. Good rink, hope to keep going there!

This is a great ice rink. They have a ton of open skate sessions through out the week. They also have lessons and hockey. The rink looks a little out dated, but with two rinks there is tons of room for practices of all types.
